Actually the DUmmy may be right, after all did not God punish Israel when they went for idol worship over worshiping him? So maybe the 0bama administration is our captivity in Babylon and if we are worthy we will be returned to the promise land by Romney. If we are not worthy then we shall suffer another 4 years in Babylon.

12. Scripture says that believers are supposed to pray for leaders in government
1 Timothy 2:1-4. (Unfortunately this is also the chapter people use to keep women from becoming ordained ministers )
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
"Presidential prayer teams" were all over the place when Bush was president.
I don't recall seeing anything similar by the evangelical machine regarding Obama. Unless it was to wish for him to die and his wife to be left a widow, and his kids orphaned.

They are so funny when they try to use scriptures to support their lunacy. They have knowledge, but have no understanding. And yes there is a difference, one may know that 1+1 equals 2, but if one does not know why 1+1 equals 2 then they have knowledge, but no understanding.

I'm sure that a lot of people have prayed for Obama. I'm sure they've asked God to open Obama's eyes and heart so that he will turn from his current path and onto the path of godliness and holiness. For some reason either God has chosen not to do that or Obama has hardened his heart to God and refused to listen.

If it was God's will, surely the DUmmies would say that his election was unconstitutional...I mean that's a pretty big violation of church and state.

I actually agree with the sentiment. Obama was, and is, a 'chastisement' to us, as a country. It's up to us to 'wise up' and come back to God. It ain't gonna be easy, but it's always worth it.

I am always amused when the DUmmies speak of god. I know that my God and their god is not the same entity. When they pretend they are one in the same, I have to be amused.
DUmmies come from darkness where my God will never be found.

Obama has probably caused far more people to pray for our country and its leaders than any event outside things like Pearl Harbor or 9/11. Even Carter didnt cause as much "wailing and gnashing of teeth." And I do agree that God willed his presidency. Our country has turned its back on His will for decades. We have slaughtered millions of innocents and embraced sin, supported sin, taught our children that sin is normal, acceptable, just another cboice.

He also ruined Job's life and destroyed everyone dear to him just to win a bet. Even if you were right (Unlikely as that is), DUmmie, it still doesn't mean it was a good thing or that it should be repeated.
I'm not religious at all, but anyone who is would tell you stupid moonbats that HIS purposes are not one with OUR purposes, and don't necessarily make sense for the living on this mortal plane.
