This is no bouncy tale. It happened yesterday when I went to a family funeral. Yes, relatives get into conversation involving politics when they mill around after the funeral. We have an uncle that was deeply involved with the unions
before he retired and has always been a strong democrat. He has had enough of obama and his governing, he is voting for Romney this time, he said it will hurt to pull the lever for a republican but he is going to do it.
His ex wife which has always been our loving aunt was a union shop stewart for 14 years, the union busted the company she worked for, everyone lost their jobs and she went to work for the privately owned company that took it over, she says the employees are happier now that they have ever been and would never go back to a union job. Her eyes have also been opened to obama and his policies, she is voting for Romney too.
These are two people I NEVER expected to see pull a republican lever. When you see them do it you know the democrats and obama are doomed in this electing.

Slowly but surely some celebrities are seeing the light:
ACTOR ROB SCHNEIDER: I’VE COME AROUND…I’M NOT VOTING FOR ‘CRAPPY’ OBAMA (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/actor-rob-schneider-ive-come-around-im-not-voting-for-crappy-obama/)

I have heard an awful lot of people who voted for Obama say they were voting for Romney this time. I haven't heard anyone at all say they voted for McLame last time but now they are voting for Obama.
This, on top of the cooled excitement about the whole First-Black-President/Hope-'n'-Change schtick has me wondering how the polling that shows them so close can possibly be accurate. I choose to believe my lyin' eyes rather than the political poll punditry.

Usually when a president runs for a second term, he improves on his lead in the first one.
The only exception of which I'm aware (but there are probably a few others) is Missouri, which in 1952 voted for Eisenhower but in 1956 went narrowly for Stevenson, if memory serves me correctly.
In theory, Barack Milhous should be ahead of what he got in the blue states in 2008, and out campaigning in the red states to pick up a few of those.
But I haven't seen Barack Milhous in any of the red states, campaigning.
One wonders what's up with that.
-
Well, Barack Milhous did say him and the wookie would be OK no matter what happens. I think he knows he is losing and has accepted it as a fact.
-
...and the wookie
Madam, I must caution you against referring to Michelle Obama as a wookie...
...apparently there are many Star Wars fans around and they don't appreciate wookies being demeaned in this manner. :)

I will take this as more proof that those polls that are weighted +10 points for the donks is not about suppressing republican turnout but to keep the bottom from falling out of democrat party support. If Wile B. Obama were close then the local and national donks would be glad handing with the economic super genius at his campaign stops. The democrat party candidates are as far away as possible when 0 comes into their regional college campuses.
My own observations are that of the 5 very liberal teachers (BIRM) I know, 3 are voting for Romney. The other 2 won't say that they are voting for 0bama.

I apologize to the real WOOKIE and all Star Wars fans...I kinda like the real WOOKIE myself....I suppose I can go back to calling it MOOshell.

That racist!

That racist!
It would be racist if he had said "Nappy Obama".

He is racist for not supporting the black man in the White House. That has to be the only reason he doesn't like him. I mean that it what all the liberals say. [DU mode]'No one likes obama because they can't stand seeing a black man in the White House'.[/DU mode]
