Dear citizens of the world,
We are anonymous.
As of today 200 kilograms of composite Nitroglycerin and commercial explosives have effectively been concealed in a government building, situated in the united states of America.
On the 5th of November 2012 the device will detonate remotely via the transmission control protocol, leaving behind severe consiquences.
We would like to advise that the contraption is built inside a tamper proof apparatus sensitive to physical intrusions or attempted disarmament, thus resulting in the desired effect, if the military grade device is found before the 5th of November.
There is no intention, risks or circumstances what so ever to cause harm to innocent people, but we can not, say the same for the people who are the real terrorists, oppressors and war creators.

Another interesting fact: They hate corporations, but every time they buy a Guy Fawkes mask they are giving Warner Brothers more money.

Last I knew this was a group of geeky computer nerds. Their attacks were ineffective. Bombs are pretty much a big step up for them.

Last I knew this was a group of geeky computer nerds. Their attacks were ineffective. Bombs are pretty much a big step up for them.
It's not really a group though, more a loose alliance of hackers. Still, they have disavowed other attacks that initially were blamed on them. If they aren't behind this, then they should be saying so soon. However, this sounds like an effective way to disrupt business at government buildings for several days. Sounds like something OWS would try and do.

They chickened out.
According to the Guardian, Anonymous chose to stand down because of reports that the Zetas were hiring their own security experts to track down the hackers and kill them.
Today, Anonymous’s IberoAmerica Web site published a post saying the kidnapped member had been found, and that they would give up their operation, writing:
On this day, our anonymous friend retained by the Zetas cartel has been released...and while bruised, is alive and well.
The Anonymous collective has decided by consensus not to disclose the information for now, as we understand that we can not ignore threats involving innocent civilians that have nothing to do with our actions

I'm starting to get paranoid now.
Obama has called off his campaign because of the storm (after he had already flown down to FL last night), there is a bomb threat by the occupy people, millions of Americans are displaced by the storm and Obama is avoiding Benghazi and he's down in the polls.
Sure sounds like a recipe for chaos around election time.
