The hat tip for this post goes to LGF reader John Williams in Texas.
The company that published Scott McClellan’s new Bush-bashing book is Public Affairs Books, and their Editor at Large is a guy named Peter Osnos: About The Century Foundation.
The owner of Public Affairs Books is a company called Perseus Book Group. Here’s their ownership tree: Perseus Books Home.

Scott McClellan comes from a Democrat family in Texas. This is interesting.

It's starting to make a lot more sense now.

scott mclellan was a disaster as a white house press secretary; he was a squishy, inarticulate, constantly confused little man that bush probably put in charge out of sheer organizational inertia, or loyalty to his fellow texan.
I had forgotten that he existed until this book started making waves. then I began to remember how frequently he made me wince at his verbal missteps.

Scott McClellan is the son of Carole Keeton Strayhorn, former Texas State Comptroller and former 2006 independent Texas gubernatorial candidate. She was a republican that went independent for the last Governors race.

He was quite clumsy in that regard.

This is what "cpmassionate conservatism" gets you, a moonbat on the staff that will put the knife right between your shoulderblades on the way out the door.

Every time I hear that term, I want to go puke. This is what happens to conservatives when they employ weak-kneed pussies.

Thanks for pointing that out. She was also a Democrat (I know they don't officially use labels in city races, but it was the party she was affiliate with back then) mayor of Austin before she switched to being a Republican.

Scott's father authored a book which was published in 2003 which had a subtitle which claimed that LBJ was responsible for JFK's assassination.
Goofyness doesn't fall far from the tree!

Yeah, Rush pointed this out too recently.
I honestly think that Osnos ghost wrote this book. He's in George Soros' back pocket.
Tools.

I think LBJ is a horrible President like Jimmy Carter. However, I don't think he killed JFK.
