Favorite cookie recipes?
I still have a hardcopy of my Coconut Macaroons recipe, and I can find the fabulous Molasses Crisps that I love so much (from Gale Gand) online, but I lost the rest of my collected cookie recipes when my PC died. I'm in a baking mood!
Have any favorite recipes that you'd like to share?

1. I know it's not very imaginative, but you asked for my favorite cookie recipe: The one on the back of the Nestle chocolate chip bag. For me, it comes out just the right crispness (I don't like cake-like cookies) and just enough chips. If I have any on hand, I'll sometimes add walnuts. I'm retired now and do very little baking, but if I do, it will be these.

3. I made a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies on Wednesday.
I use the recipe from the lid liner of a Mother's Oats container.

Anyway.
Please notice that some of the primitives (not all are quoted here) do the exact same thing franksolich does.
Instead of messing around with recipe books or recipe index-cards or recipes on the computer, I just use the recipe printed on the box or bag of something.

The secret to soft cookies is putting a package of instant pudding in the mix. I have a family favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and I add 2 (smaller size) boxes of butterscotch pudding to and they're gone almost instantly. They're the ones my son asks me to send him the most, followed by oatmeal raisin cookies with instant coconut pudding.

Now that's DOTY-worthy funny.
I've never heard of a food item being referred to as "everyday eating".
And poor addled Judy trundles off down the sidewalk, muttering under her breath about a pie shop, her numerous overcoat pockets stuffed with prescription bottles full of hair clippings.
