Overheard in the jury lounge today: "I'm a Republican but won't be voting

for Romney because he keeps changing his mind and says something different everyday. I just don't trust him." (paraphrased). And even better yet, the other woman said she was an Independent and was having the same problem with Romney. This was a conversation between 2 woman getting to know each other during jury duty - this was in the dining section of the lounge.

I found the conversation interesting, & thought I'd share.

So a republican is not going to vote for Romney and his reason is a democrat talking point that is also a lie?

Yeah, the first thing I do when trying to get to know someone is let them know my opinion of Mitt Romney and Barack 0bama.

Not too bad for a creed building bouncy.  She can claim to be doing her civic duty, which is a nice touch, while also overhearing news the primitives will eat up without question.  Obvious bouncy, but still beyond the ability of the primitives to question without looking troolish.  And at approx. 1600 posts, not too early as a member, but also not too late.

I wonder if these two independent Republican jurors had any specific examples?

Dems seem to be jerking themselves to feel better, but I guess I can't blame them....because they see the end of the road coming.

I live in an area that is 3 1/2 to 1 in favor of democrats in registration. Funny thing is I see only republican signs when normally you can't go one block without seeing 1000 democrat signs before an election.

Either they are bummed out or they sent all their money to Barry.  :-)
