So when the enemy sets up an IED on a road to attack the troops on their turf, that's evil.
But when Americans blow up people over there, ON THEIR TURF, who represent no threat to you and I over here ON OUR TURF, that's good?
Let's compare like for like here, why is going out of our way to kill them over there okay, but them killing intruders on their soil NOT okay?
Let me guess, it's that whole jingoism thing again?

The DUmmie gets some support, and a little opposition.

5. Please post proof here that our targets are the Taliban.
Got any? I'd like to see it. And NO, i am not going to just BELIEVE because someone orders me to ****ing believe. Not happening. Ever. Period. I may not have been born when the Gulf of Tonkin hoax came along but I read history and I learn from it.

That would explain a lot. :-)

So it would be cool to set up IEDs in inner cities here?
That would be cool?
FOAD DUche.

It sounds like he is advocating setting IEDs in areas where lots of illegal immigrants live. After all, they are an invading force.
-
The reason they use IEDs is lack of testicular fortitude.
-
Wow it's been about four years since we have seen this type of stuff coming from the DUmp, this can only mean one thing, they are preparing for when Romney is commander in chief and the troops will once again be evil.

First of all douchebag, the IED they set doesn't know friend from foe, it will indiscriminately kill whoever and whatever triggers it. I've been on enough PBA's to know they get a lot their own, but hey that's okay right, the price of war and all.
Second, the Hellfire or GBU released from a drone is done soon under the rules of engagement as specified per AOR/location.
Third, the target does indeed no direct threat to you precisely because it was engaged at a time and place of our choosing to ensure the general US population is not in harms way.
But lets not let the facts get in the way of your @#@damn stupidity.

Why is Zalatix disrespecting a sitting president of the United States? It's outrageous and unforgiveable.

Note to the Lurkers here....
Our rules of engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan are so restrictive and go so far out of the way to make sure we don't harm the hair of one alleged "innocent" that it ends up getting us killed in the process sometimes.
The thugs this idiot is defending don't have such restrictions.
Hence the reason they have no problem strapping suicide vests onto mentally handicapped kids and promising them ice cream if they go over to the soldiers and press the button.
The brutal murderers your fellow DUmmie is defending plant IED's on roads they full well know have children playing on the and they don't care.
Yet the eeevil Americans are the ones who rush to help those wounded civilians...at the risk of their own life and patch them back together after they have had their body parts scattered hither and yon across an intersection by one of their own.

Chamberlain left Munich believing that by appeasing Hitler he had assured 'peace for our time'.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/historic_figures/chamberlain_arthur_neville.shtml
The DUmmies still think Chamberlain is a hero and follow his disastrous policies to this day. Somehow they failed to read the rest of history or they just disregard the "inconvenient" part of history.

It's always bothered me that most don't know exactly what "suicide bombers" are.
In Iraq, those car bombs, many of the "suicide bombers" were the village idiot or a beggar or some sort of cripple who was duct-taped to the inside of a vehicle with a bomb.
And even among the able-bodied--those who bombed the London underground on July 7, 2005, were given knapsacks with bombs, and told the bombs wouldn't go off until the individuals had set them down somewhere after a specified time and gotten away; they were lied to, as the bombs were set to detonate when still in the knapsacks on their backs.
It irritates the Hell out of me that this isn't widespread knowledge.

It's a tactic of warfare, no more morally weighted one way or the other than any other tactic. They use it because it does the most possible damage to us at the least possible loss to them, the same reason we use drones. It's stupid to get into a moral huff one way or the other. Welcome to Realityville.

So he thinks Obama is a war criminal...
...but he's still voting for Obama.
Why?
Because he approves of Obama's socialist-corporatist based economic policies, ideological dictates and government handouts.
But conservatives are the fascists.

You know, my son earned his CAB about 2 weeks ago. They were shot at a week before that with an RPG followed by AK fire but because they couldn't positively identify the shooter they weren't allowed to return fire. A week after that on a night mission they were fired upon with an RPG followed by AK fire but this time they could see the muzzle flashes and my son was told to 'Light 'em up!' which he did until the AK fire stopped.
Now, can the OP please explain to me how that is a bad thing? Someone was firing at my son and his convoy for doing nothing more than driving down the road. They also come under mortar attack 2-3 times per week in their FOB AND they had an IED planted not 300 yards outside of their FOB.
Who are the instigators here? My son is clearing the IED's to keep the rest of Afghanistan safe for our troops AND the Afghani's!
Congratulations to my son on his CAB. I'm proud of him.

Okay, what's a "CAB," for the illumination of we professional civilians?

It's a Combat Action Badge. He can only earn it by hitting and IED, his vehicle being hit by incoming fire or getting the opportunity to return fire.
None of those a parent likes.

I didn't especially enjoy getting mine either. It's part of the price a soldier pays for serving his country.
Tell your son hi, he done good, and thank him for his service, from an old Vietnam vet. :II: :usflag:
