Something to think about while watching the primitives watching the debates tonight.

There's still twenty days--480 hours--until election day, and a lot can happen, especially with the most racially-divisive president in American history at the helm.  Not to mention the most incompetent, the most detached president in American history.  And I suspect he's probably the lowest-IQ president in our history too; he's just not very bright.

But even stumblebums get lucky and waltz through something.  It's just random chance, but it does happen.

Some things that could happen might not go our way, but it's important to not lose our heads, and to press on.

I do think 0bama will try to be more aggressive this time but from what I've seen Romney rarely gets rattled. How could he and still have his success, especially when he understands what the stakes are? 0bama's used to going up against people (including Hillary & McCain) who pretty much wilt with racism or "meany" lurking in the background. Romney's so matter of fact, smart & comfortable in his own skin that he makes cries of racism fail completely. The left...Hollywood, the media, pundits...have tried but it just doesn't resonate with the majority of people because it's way too obvious it doesn't exist in him regardless of how many chairs or how much peanut butter they throw into the mix.

I'm pretty sure the Mod in this one is goin' to be a complete c#nt! They want the Bummer to win so bad, I'll be surprised if she lets the Mitt talk at all without interruption.

There's actually a thread that calls the MSM out for bein' on our side! How many drugs, and what kind do you have to take to be that far from reality?

I swear DUmmies are goin' down in history for bein' the least intelligent in the history of the world!

It seems to me Romney is damn near the exact opposite from "Der Leader". He speaks off the cuff, believes what he says, and does his best to tell the truth.

Bummer? Not a ****in' chance! He's lyin' every time he opens his yap! Good thing he ain't Pinocchio!

Me thinks you're pre-maturely coming to conclusions. I'm still wondering what you lot are going to do if Mitt actually puts the final nail in Obumble's coffin. It would be magnificent. Like Harry destroying the final horcrux, it would be.

He didn;t do that. He only proved he refined his presenting skills.

However, in material terms Rmoney has now shown twice that he is the better man. That solidifies the decision for the recent switchers and for those wanting to come over but not sure it showed that Rmoney's performance from 2 weeks ago was not a fluke.

PREDICTION: Even the D+9 polls will show Rmoney moving past 51 points and with it the avalanche begins as it becomes safe to abandon Obama and join the winning team.

As far as the day after the Libya attack, and Dear Leaders speech in the Rose Garden, he did not use the word "terrorism," but he did use the general term (not attaching it to what had just happened) "act of terror."  So he refered to terror, and not terrorism.

Problem is that everyone knows what he was trying to say in the debate, and that is he was trying to convey to the people was that he did call it an act of terror, or terrorism, which he did not.  It's a bunch of legal speak.  If Dear Leader presses that, he's going to come away looking like Clinton when he said "It depends upon what the definition of 'is' is."

My indicator for how well 0bama did tonight will be how many national or state level democrat party members running for office, campaign with him at one of their nearby college campuses.

I'm guessing an integer between -1 and 1.

No energy on the recap at ABC, CBS, or ABC. Now Angrierer Mitchell said Mitt was wrong on the terrorism statement but she also thought the high altitude skydiver had gone faster than the speed of light. I imagine that Angrierer will be angrier about Mitt being correct but won't mention it. .

A tie is still a tactical victory for Romney, since he had the momentum going into this; a tie does not change that dynamic, only a clear-cut Obama win would have done that.
True dat. Both gave good performances. I would say it was a tie. However, the points that Romney made were the most important ones. That being the economy and unemployment which Romney won decisively. I think that Romney poll numbers will go up even though Obama did much better in the second debate.

The Libya thing is going to haunt Dear Leader.  The more I think about the more I realize he backed himself into a corner.  After weeks of trying to convince people that the attack was the result of a Youtube video, he actually tried to insinuate that the day after the attack he was calling it an "act of terror."  That's beyond deperate.  That's suicidal.

Nobody except the die hard partisans are voting for Obama.

What is deciding this election is whether or not people become comfortable with voting for Rmoney.

As soon as they realize it is OK to vote Rmoney, they will.

It could be any number of reasons why they admit to voting Rmoney, i.e. he was too unknown, they fear being called racist, Obama was protected by the myth of inevitability.

Now that Rmoney has fractured the myths and presented himself as acceptable people are free to join the winning team in the 4th Quarter.

We did what we, as partisans for our ideology, needed to do: not go batshit insane like liberals do. The DUmbasses manufacture 90% of their greatest ills and curses. By staying sane we were not merely "The Base" that was needed, we were the foundation that made it OK for the middlers to step on to our territory. Now we need to spend the next 4 years justifying their trust.

I couldn't get too many personal comments in last night, but I have to say that Romney knocked it out of the ballpark on the economy and that's what people care about more than anything. I was a little ticked at Crowley for correcting Mitt wrongly on Benghazi, she felt no need to correct Obama on things he was wrong about like drilling etc. but this could work out even better because Twitter was full of posts showing proof that Crowley was wrong, and as stated she said within the hour that she was wrong. The next debate I think is going to be foreign policy, and no freaking way is Bob Schieffer going to do what Crowley did, and no doubt Mitt will bring that up, and no doubt he'll find a way to bring Fast and Furious into the debate, add that to the Middle East being on fire amongst other things.

no doubt he'll find a way to bring Fast and Furious into the debate,

He needs to; the press it has gotten in the US is over lying and one dead Border Patrol uniformed officer, but there are more than two hundred Mexican citizens lying dead across the border thanks to the illegal movement of those weapons down there, all done with the full partnership of Obama's DOJ.  Holder, a couple of US Attorneys, and several ATF and DOJ staffers should all be facing charges in Mexican courts for hundreds of counts of what we would call Conspiracy, Felony Murder, and Accessory Before the Fact in our own courts.

We don't nomally prosecute for "royally ****ing up." That usually ends in being cashiered. I figured that would be the best we could hope for in this case. If Obama loses then Holder et al are pretty much beyond reach because successors don't prosecute their predecessors lest their own sucessors vindictively return the favor.

Still, when irks me the most is we still aren't sure if this was simply a royal ****-up or a malicious efforts to put the 2nd A in a bad light because we still do not know what the overall objective was supposed to be thanks to Executive Piss-a-ledge.

I think the best we'll get is Rmoney releasing the docs at the end of his own term unless the congress really sticks hard in demanding something from him.

President Obama, though, wasn’t done with Kerry Ladka. “After the debate, the president came over to me and spent about two minutes with me privately,” says the 61-year-old Ladka, who works at Global Telecom Supply in Mineola, N.Y. According to Ladka, Obama gave him ”more information about why he delayed calling the attack a terorist attack.” For background, Obama did apparently lump Benghazi into a reference to “acts of terror” in a Sept. 12 Rose Garden address. However, he spent about two weeks holding off on using the full “terrorist” designation. The rationale for the delay, Obama explained to Ladka, was to make sure that the “intelligence he was acting on was real intelligence and not disinformation,” recalls Ladka.

As to Ladka’s question about who turned down the Benghazi security requests and why, Obama reportedly told him that “releasing the individual names of anyone in the State Department would really put them at risk,” Ladka says.

After watching the debate and comparing the DUmp's reaction to specific instances it appears that for a "informed" voting bloc they really don't have a clue.

They cheer anything disrespectful, yet are up in arms if Romney asks the President not interupt during his response.

They mistake style for substance and rhetoric for an actual plan.

They couldn't stand the moderator until it was evident she was serving up softballs to the President.

The DUmmies remind me of a petulant child, they don't want anyone to tell them what to do as they say they can take care of themselves, yet at the first sign of trouble scream that there isn't a safety net to prevent their own stupidity from having lasting negative consequences.

I'm a firm believer that what ever the DUmbasses assert to be the truth, it is in fact just the opposite.

That's exactly what they are.  An adolescent mindset that refuses to accept any reality that conflicts with "gimme", "help me" or "do it for me."  Mommy and Daddy have simply been replaced with nanny government.  Because, as we all know, it works so well in Europe. :whatever:
