Title: Debate #2
Post by: Revolution on October 15, 2012, 05:31:21 PM
Simple question. Simple answer. We all know Romney won the 1st debate period; end of story. What are your feelings for the debate tomorrow?

(Posted this in the particular area, because I want the DUchebags to see this poll. Certain so called "moles" may skew it though, but I think Frank, or chris_ know who they are though, So I'm not worried)

Yes but unless it is a 100 % repeat of the 1st the media will declare O the winner and election over.

They're gonna do that even if Mitt wipes the floor with him. I have no doubt.

If understand correctly this one is going to be a townhall style deal where the audience asks questions. Do they screen the questions?

^ That's the great thing about this one. I bet they do, but with the gestapo that is the O Admin, how many questions do you think will get asked? If they want to show their true colors, and ENSURE A Romney victory, they'll only throw him softballs from the liberal members who printed out a question for them.

Or do they ask directly via a mic like Frank Luntz segments?

Yes and Candy Crowley gets to pick the questions ahead of time.

Ah ok then. This should be a round 2 knockout. Even if Crowley is tagging with Bama then.

I voted yes, despite the softballs that the "O" will be tossed, he isn't a great impromptu speaker.  Regardless, the Communist News Network will declare Obummer the winner.

How much ya wanna bet the audience is seeded with Bummer supporters? It's already happened more than once! Hell' they're even seeding Romney rallies! O'bummer phones give ya a clue? I heard the bitch was makin' $11/hour courtesy of the SEIU.

Team SMART Power!!!!1111!!1eleventy thinks that Biden won so I expect the same kind of behavior as the senile old man. This will make the MSM think 0 wins but will turn off even more women and independents. So my answer is 0bama loses it in the electorate but the smartest people in the room will claim he wins by being an asshole.

Ya know, since Biden's smirk turned off the indies and the ladies, I wouldn't be surprised to see a duplicate of his last performance.

So the streets will be empty, no one in the bars or away from their TVs, right?  The debate will have CC in 6 different languages
there will be no hooking or drug dealing going on anywhere in the country.

Next day for those that for some reason missed the debate  there will be replays, Say one is out at the time stealing a car or mugging someone,  a farmer tending to a sick cow or the personal in the hospital ER, those that miss it as Charlies Angles is on at the same time will be so greatfull to watch after the fact.

Yup, it will be so quiet in the Ghetto that the police will not get one call.   SURE.

Fact is few people give a rats Ass as to politics.  Seems our new Americans know more about our government then even college students do.

Sad, but true, few really care about their country until the policy's effect them.   Then they can leave or stay and expect someone else to fix the personal problems they have.

This Obama knows well, as does Mitt.  There are millions of voters out there that have little idea of the debates or concern for the country and the future beyond the next couple of years.   Personal concerns for themselves and who they are told will kiss their bobo and make it all better.

I might remind ya Vesta Dear, that the last audience was over 68 million. The most that's ever payed attention to a presidential debate, or did you deliberately ignore that fact?

Don't tell me, yer votin' for the "Magic Negro" again.

It will come out close to even, whether it really does or not, which saves face for Team Obama but actually favors the player with momentum -- which is Romney.

That is exactly the reason I answered, "Who cares?"

Though, we were told before the first one that the Obamessiah was going to wipe the floor with Mitt.

It occurred to me who Biden reminded me of.  I worked as a waitress at a country club through high school and college.  He was exactly the guy who pinched your ass on New Years Eve, and gave you a $20 tip to smoothe things over.  Just thought I'd share.

Women did not like what they saw.

M/zeit, who is far less politically inclined than I, also detested SloJo although not for your exact reason.

[aside] Karen, did you ever slap one of 'em when they did that? (not that I am sure you didn't want too, and if not why not?)

Well, just being totally objective here, as bad as Obama sucked in the first debate, anything but utter failure would be an improvement, and therefore technically a 'Comeback.'  The press has a vested interest in keeping it a horserace as long as possible, regardless of how their personal political desires may cut either way, so that will be almost certainly be their take on it.

No, I didn't.  This was the days before sexual harrassment awareness.  I needed the job.  Who are they going to believe?  A gladhanding popular powerful dude, or the girl?  I didn't mean to hijack the thread.  I just continue to be so repulsed by the likes of Joe Biden.

He also reminds me of Ted Baxter.

"Umm, I have a question for each of the candidates?*

"Umm, Great Father and Teacher, will you be spreading your awesomeness even more gloriously in your second term, and will you need a third to finish your great work?

"And, uh, you: why are you so repulsive that scum refuses to grow over your eyeballs and skunks flee from your stench?"

Absolutely.  Unless Obama bumbles in a huge way that can't be overlooked, he will almost certainly be declared the winner, regardless of reality.

68 million in the US or World Wide.  ???

One of my great mysteries is how anyone can tell or give a number to the number of people watching anything on TV.

How do anyone know if people do turn to a channel leave the thing on, go out for dinner and thieves will believe there is someone at home.  How about people that fall asleep just before the debates begin and have no idea what went on.

Trying to remember back when the Nielson ratings started.  All I can remember is 500 or so special boxes were set on peoples TV,s and show ratings from these boxes could make or break a program. This was volunteer for invasion of privacy.

If Technology can find how the numbers of people tuned into a program, why not go one step up and be able to track down the individuals who's set is turned on to a program.   Great alibi in criminal cases, I was home watching a re run of Gilligan's Island when my wife went missing--don't believe me, call the cable company.

Have to remember sports bars that have 20 TV's all turned to the debate and perhaps 20 out of 150 are partly watching.

I have no idea of the US population at this time, nor do I trust Polls or those that tell us how many people watched what.

I am still hopping mad that one of my favorite programs was canceled because it ONLY drew 5,000,000 viewers. The Anamil Clinic with the star a monkey that was one heck of an actor.

Now I grant you that it has been a long time since I have been in a Sports Bar (and not, it wasn't Rosie's Cantina in Groton, it was the next one down) but I doubt all their TV's would be tuned to the debate. Too many games too little time in a good sports bar.  Have you even ever been to a real sports bar?    :argh:  I don't know if there are any in this area, maybe if you go towards Dover?

Not sure how they figure out viewership, but sports bars? Yer kiddin', right?

They seem to be pretty damn accurate on viewership, so I believe the numbers. They have to rely on viewers in order to get commercial accounts, so I'm sure they have a way.

Another thing, the MSM will not approach the fact that the pResident had to sequester himself for several days to prepare for this.

Evidently Gallup picked these undecided voters. The weird thing is, they're all from NY. You'd think they'd have it in a truly swing state, more breadbasket.

Well, well - according to Fox & Breitbart - Crowley will now be also asking her own questions.

I can only assume there weren't enough Romney bashers on the index cards she pre-screened. Why am I not surprised..  :whatever:
