Where do you buy alkaline batteries size "D" that are reasonably priced. Here, the prices seem to be going through the roof, like about $7 for two size "D" batteries.
Hmmm.
I thought Barack Milhous was going to do something about rising battery prices.
The primitives promised us he would, four years ago.
One wonders what's up with that.

4. I have been using them for lots and lots of things these days, as I am generally in an area where I can't get much.
I paid for the Prime (or whatever it is called) and the shipping savings have paid for it already.
I know it's not the most PC company around but I am so happy to be able to get what I need and get it quickly.
By the way, the cbayer primitive hasn't continued with her stories about living on a small cramped boat, as she promised she would.

The grocery stores have sales, they had all Eveready batteries on sale a couple of weeks ago for $1.49, it included the 4 pack D batteries, they were sold out so I got a raincheck and can buy 4-4 packs for under $6 for all of them.
