Supply side Bush vs--Keynesian Obama -2
Thought I would keep you boys and girls updated on history.
Two recessions during the Bush years started about the same time,
one in Jan. of 2001 and the second in Feb. of 2008.
Lets compare the two recovery's by job creation During the recovery!
January 20, 2012
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/01/20/mitt_romney_of_course_the_economy_is_getting_better.html
Romney
"The president's policies have made the recession deeper and have made the recovery
more tepid and more difficult on the American people. This is the worst recovery
that we have seen from a recession since Hoover.
Romney claims that he can read a balance sheet?
How often does 500,000 jobs come up on the federal Gov. balance sheet?
Romney
“We should be seeing numbers in the 500,000 jobs created per month,â€
Romney said during an interview on Fox News. “This is way, way, way off from
what should happen in a normal recovery.â€
John Maynard Keynes is one of my Idols, so it pisses me off that the
economy is not growing faster. But, there are reasons.
(1) 8,874,000 private sector jobs were lost during the bush recession.
(2) Under Bush the Manufacturing sector lost five million 650 thousand jobs.
(3) During the Bush recession the middle class lost 40% of it,s wealth.
(4) Housing has never ever taken a dive like this.
http://www.census.gov/const/startsan.pdf
In 1959 there were 1,517.0 New Privately Owned Housing Units Started.
Between then and the supply side Housing Collapse in 2008, the lowest
number of Housing Units Started was 1,062.2 thousand during brain-dead
Reagan's recession in 1982.
In 1983 housing starts recovered to 1,703.0 thousand Units.
Home building didn't even slow down during the 2001 recession.
2000 1,568.7
2001 1,602.7
2002 1,704.9
2003 1,847.7
2004 1,955.8
2005 2,068.3

2007 1,355.0
2008 905.5
2009 554.0
2010 586.9
The first 40 months of the two recessions are in these graphs.

563 thousand jobs ahead of supply side economics, during the
job recovery period.
From Jan 2001 to Jan 2009, the economy lost 646,000 private sector jobs.

Obama already has 4,726 jobs.
The Bush supply side recession lost 8,874,000 private sector jobs then they
say Obama is not getting them back quick enough.
For Republicans, Lying is a way of life.

Oh Goody....
Another ****ing troll.
-
I just love when these guys show up. :whatever:
They spew enormous amounts of numbers and data as if that means something.
The guy has already cherry-picked his information that supports his thesis - and his love of his Idol Keynes he's already professed.
Despite all of this bullshit, blue collar Eddie (you'll note he can't even spell his own screen name correctly) hasn't factored in fiscal policy, world economics and patterns of trade, the effect of energy consumption and availability to the economy, and other variables.
In other words, eddie, leave the economics to the economists. Go back to workin' the assembly line (not that I have a problem with that).
Bitchslapped for pissing me off this early in the morning.

Bingo.
-
Bingo.
Don't forget the Media that claimed we were in a recession from 2006 because they hated Bush. Those traitors kept hounding Bush on his "down economy" when we were still doing pretty good.
And the time that the traitorous Commies in congress laughed at GWB when he begged then to fix freddie and fannie before the bubble was too big not to burst. Assholes, every damn one...then this shithead comes on here and says its Conservatives fault.

Uh huh.
What primitives forget is that George Bush had little or no control over things his last two years in office.
He was a lame duck, he was on his way out, and every day that passed, he was less and less meaningful in the course of events.
(Which always happens with presidents serving two full terms; no denigration of George Bush, no way.)
And there was Harry and Bela, in control of Congress, a Congress hostile to Bush.
Things were going real good until.....January 3, 2007.
That's when all the bad stuff started happening, shortly after that.

Give a poor man a dollar, and he'll be poor again tomorrow.........(John Maynard Keynes' plan)
Let a poor man earn a dollar with a job, and he'll earn another tomorrow.............(Adam Smith's plan)
Marx was right about one thing; wealth is only created with labor, i.e. JOBS! So where are the jobs under the Keynesian model?
-
Bitchslapped for someone (other than my family) to cause me to zone out with bovine feces.
I think he also didn't factor in the people who quit looking for work, thus out of the unemployed numbers.

BS'd for being an asswipe.

written by John Maynard Keynes:
........ Nor should the argument seem strange that taxation may be so high as to defeat its object, and that, given sufficient time to gather the fruits, a reduction of taxation will run a better chance than an increase of balancing the budget. For to take the opposite view today is to resemble a manufacturer who, running at a loss, decides to raise his price, and when his declining sales increase the loss, wrapping himself in the rectitude of plain arithmetic, decides that prudence requires him to raise the price still more--and who, when at last his account is balanced with nought on both sides, is still found righteously declaring that it would have been the act of a gambler to reduce the price when you were already making a loss.2
Even Keynes disagrees with Obama tax policy.

As to housing starts.....hell....the democrats were giving them away to whoever wanted one wheather they could afford it or not.. :argh:

They had Bush over a barrel because of funding for the wars and he knew he couldn't play hardball with them.

I would remind this troll that the 2001 recession was inherited from the previous administration who did everything they could to hide it in an effort to get ManBearChild elected.
And his fiscal policy early on (tax cuts) saved us from heading back into it on the heels of 9/11.
As for the last two years of the Bush Administration...who was running both houses of Congress?
If Reagan's policy was so "brain dead"...how come the economic boom this country had during his presidency lasted all the way through two terms of Bill Clinton?

Few people remember the dot-com bubble;
By early 2000, reality started to sink in. Investors soon realized that the dot-com dream had devolved into a classic speculative bubble. Within months, the NASDAQ stock index crashed from 5,000 to 2,000. Hundreds of stocks such as Pet.com, which once had multi-billion dollar market capitalizations, were off the map as quickly as they appeared. Panic selling ensued as the stock market’s value plunged by trillions of dollars.

That's funny, 2000 was BEFORE Bush. :-)

Statistics can be useful; however, what really matters is what is happening at home.
From the start of his presidency the media and others on the left crucified President Bush about the "terrible" economy. So how "terrible" was the economy around my home during the Bush years? Well, until around 2008 the only people I knew who were without a job were those who were too lazy to work, and I got richer every year until the dems took control of congress.
Since President Ears has been in office the media and others on the left have tried to claim the economy is improving. So how improved is the economy around my home? Well, I know a lot of people who want to work but can't find jobs. I've gotten poorer. My business is has dropped to nothing. All of the money that I saved up from Bush's "terrible" economy has been spent trying to pay bills and buy gas and groceries during Obama's improved economy.

Thought I would keep you boys and girls updated on history.
History? O.k, moron. Lets talk about history.
The liberals history
Liberals are racist:
The liberals started the Civil War because they wanted to keep slavery
The liberals started the KKK because they didn't want blacks to be free
The liberals voted 99% to Republicans 1% in refusal of passing the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Those voting against it also included daddy Al Gore and JFK
Martin Luther King was Republican. Robert Byrd, one of the liberals favorite Dems was a Grand Dragon in the KKK.
Liberals are Baby Killers. They care more about the life of a tree than they do about the life of a baby. They agree with late term abortion, and they agree with killing the breathing baby as soon as it is born.
Liberals are socialist/communists - They want the government to support all the people, and they want the government to have complete control over everyone. They think that by spending the tax payers money on the lazy it will some how make more people prosperous. When it is shown over and over again that opposite is what happens.
Liberals hate the military, liberals hate the flag, liberals hate this country, liberals hate the troops, liberals hate Christians, liberals hate Israel, liberals hate babies, liberals hate people who work for what they have, liberals hate black people, liberals have Jewish people, liberals hate prosperity, liberals hate women, liberals hate legal citizens, liberals just hate.
Liberals love killing babies, liberals love terrorists, liberals love the kkk, liberals love Muslim extremists, liberals love socialism, liberals love Palestinians bombing Israel, liberals love Achmanutjob, liberals love illegal aliens, liberals love pissing on the flag, liberals love trashing the troops, liberals love trashing the Jews, liberals agree with the Holocaust and worship Hitler, liberals love trashing this country, liberals love domestic terrorists, liberal love to lie.
Take a history lesson and you will find that everything I said it TRUE!
Liberalism is a mental disorder and is something that should be put in the DSM, right next to the re-entry of homosexuality.
