I am starting to think Romney basically woke up Obama, and is looking at ass kicking next week!!!
I was disappointed in Obama's performance. But after seeing Clinton talk today, and hearing Axelrod and Obama talk about being too polite, I think Romney is going to be in a world of hurt next week.
This guy will show up next week!!!

1. obama is nothing if not a skillful campaigner. he is certainly capable of adapting.
that said, i'm sure they're aware of the tightrope he must walk if he is to pursue that strategy.
he has to stand up to rmoney's lies and bullying, but he CANNOT come across as an "angry black man".
the standard bigotry is bad enough; playing into a bigotted meme would be political suicide.

3. I want some hope and change too!
I know he is trying to appear cognizant of the still recovering economy, but he has to take credit for saving the economy and tell us more about his vision for the future!

The "period" key on his keyboard crashed, and so he always uses exclamation points--every time--instead.

Actually he's playing catch-up, and coming out looking all angry is just going to make him look all butt-hurt over getting his ass kicked in the first debate, which will make him an object of ridicule more than anything else. It isn't going to shift the balance (Of course, it'll get rave reviews from Jolly Old Kris Tingle, the Daily Show, and Letterman). The basic problem with the 'Angry Black Man' thing is that Obama not only ain't all that Black thanks to his silver spoon life, but even more, he basically doesn't get the kind of ghetto-street-theater-angry these dipshits want, his anger is more of a sullen backstabbing kind of anger than the in-yo'-face fiery bullshit the DUmmies want.
A 50-50 performance, or even a modest win, is not going to put Obama back on top after the drubbing he took in the first debate, the best it would do is stop the bleeding, but it's starting to look like the non-Dem-base electorate is turning on Obama and finally feeling the freedom to admit the Emperor appears somewhat sparsely dressed for the weather.

The debate was just all part of an 11 dimensional chess game by 0bama. The really super scary smart is how he lost it by an unprecedented amount of 52 points. Just setting up that dumb old Mitt for the next debate.

But I'd think if anything was going to wake the naked, chair-less boy emperor it would have been the almost-because-of-a-video-no-one's-ever-seen-uprising terrorist attack, uh, whatever, whatever...that killed Americans sent by his government, supposedly to sooth the Muslims' tender sensibilities who were totally offended by President Bush, then a few words at a debate that's hardly as important as people's lives (well okay...there are more important things when you're running for reelection: naps & Vegas babieeeeee!), but still this the debate ain't gonna do it you gullible idiots.
Besides, I don't even know what an angry black man is...I'd imagine it looks something like Algore when he's preaching his one of his "the world is gonna end" sermons. But he's lily white so that can't be right.
