This ballgame is over. If I were the DNC, I would start shifting money to congressional races ASAP especially CT and MA. The President is too hated to win this election so now is the time to defend the other houses. Back in 2008, there simply was not simply enough time for the republicans to infect the electorate before the election. They have had four years now to do so and have done it masterfully. In addition they have put up the perfect candidate. A shape-shifting Manchurian candidate for the 1% that can put forth the perfect illusion to the uniformed, racists, and crazies.
That is hard to overcome along side aggressive voter suppression. I hate to say it but prepare yourselves for bad news at around 10pm on 11/6.
I will be shocked if Obama pulls this out. I can tell you that I cannot find an Obama 2012 sign driving to work in college town here in Central Florida. It is Romney everywhere here in Florida; the state is lost.
I don't even like the way OH and PA are shaping up; too close for comfort.
The next debate won't matter; the first one did. All Romney had to do was look sane which he did. Unless he is caught cheating or something like that, he is going to laugh all the way to the WH.

I can tell you that I cannot find an Obama 2012 sign driving to work in college town here in Central Florida.
I have seen 5 total. 2 bumper stickers and 3 yard signs.
They say MI is losing by 10 points. Don't believe it.

I've seen two obumble/plugs yard signs in this area, and about 40 Romney/Ryan yard signs. I've seen ONE obumble/plugs bumper sticker, and hundreds of Romney / Ryan bumper stickers.
The Republican congressional candidates are actually running AGAINST OBUMBLE, they don't even mention their dimocrat opponents in their ads.
And this is a "swing state".

You know, after Barack Milhous won in 2008, there were some newspaper columnists who moaned that the time between the election and the inaguration was too long, two and a half months, and wished that George Bush would just pack up and get out now, so Barack Milhous could get things into order.
Given the magnitude of the mess Barack Milhous is leaving us in, now I'm starting to think that's a good idea, and that Barack Milhous should call the moving vans circa 9 p.m. election night, and be the Hell out of there by morning.
If a primitive doesn't like this idea, the primitive should stop and remember where franksolich got it.

When Bush won in 2004 the local socialist rag had an editorial that filled up the whole op-ed page about how they just couldn't understand how people could vote against their self interest, for war, etc. It was even funnier cause WV, a notorious democrat state, went for Bush. I hope that there are people that will stop the worst of it. Jarret is going to do some real damage in those months, she is vindictive.

I don't think we have to worry about Valerie Jarrett unless Michelle makes Barry end the affair. So long as Val & Barry can keep hooking up once they leave the White House, Valerie will behave herself.
I for one think it is very progressive for Michelle to let her husband's mistress work with him every day.

Whatever damage Barry is going to do, he will have to it by executive order and without help from the House of Republicans. Boehner has said that he doesn't see any major bills going through between the election and January.
No lame duck wheeling and dealing is a good thing in my opinion.
