“Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured… but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.†Now add this, “Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.â€

Ben Stein is brilliant. Right on the mark.

Stein makes no sense. He'll say things like this, turn around and say that the Romney/Obummer debate was a "tie" with no "details" from Romney. Really, WTF did you watch Ben?

Yeah, I kinda like him personally, but he is a typical in-crowd Republican - fiscal conservative, social liberal, and just fine with big government as long as it's doing what he agrees with.

I caught Stein's commentary yesterday and my reaction was:
"Ben, you're a great guy and I love your wardrobe style (running shoes with suits), but put down the crack pipe, dude. The only people who give a shit about Mitt's polite recognition of Barry's anniversary aren't paying attention anyway."

Is that you, Ferris Bueller?

We’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan that we’re forced to purchase and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people without adding a single doctor but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government that has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese and finally, financed by a country that’s broke. ~ Dr. Barbara Bellar ~
