I was collared by a 96yr old man today...
I was outside, doing my secret smoker thing after a very frustrating day at the office..

I thought he was going to lecture me about smoking..

He was angry, and irritated and asked me "If I watched that fool last night?"

I admit, I only caught part of the debate because of work issues..

"Does he really think we are fools?" He then proceeded to tell of his long naval career, and how he was struggling with various health problems. Then he proceeded to lightly grab me, imploring me to make sure me and 'young 'uns" like me get out and vote, because he didn't want anyone as rude, and nasty as Romney anywhere near the Presidency. He implored me again to make sure to get out and vote, he hoped his health would hold out to see Obama win his second term. He had broken with his Republican southern family last election and voted for Obama, he would be doing it again, this time around, even running the epithets from them as to why he was voting for 'that Black Man'. I thanked him for his service to his country. Before hobbled off, he patted me on the back again, and leaned on his cane, muttering under his breath.

I am blessed to be able to travel around this country, in the course of my work, meeting all people of all backgrounds, being in different city every week, I don't always wear my political leanings on my shoulder

But today, this stranger that crossed my path, warmed my heart.

Romney doesn't have all the people fooled with his lies...especially not that 96yr old man...

how did this idiot know his exact age?  ::)

6. wait for it...........

3-2-1.......the O camp knew that RMONEY would come out swinging.

it was like , ' rope a dope'....and in a sprint,....as I have pointed out many times , that it is the habit of our president to allow the antagonist just enough rope, with which to hang , him self.

27 lies in 38 minutes is better than they expected.

its almost like shooting fish in a barrel............

She liked it because the old guy copped a feel.

That's a rare occurrence in the life of a DUmmette.

Well, geezuz.

So.....today while in the big city, I encountered a 102-year-old lady trying to cross the street.  As automotive traffic was rather heavy, I took her arm to help her across.

When we got to the other side, she clung to me, saying, "You're such a nice young man."

Then, with the curve of her oaken cane hooked over one of her lower arms, she opened her purse and dug among the contents, pulling out a $10-bill.  "I want you to have this, young man," she insisted.

To the contrary, I insisted no; and if it was spare money to her, I suggested she give it to her church or some charity.

"I tell you what, young man; I give plenty to my church, to the food pantry, to the Red Cross and Salvation Army, to the city mission, to the women's shelter, to the Humane Society.  But this time I think I'll splurge and give it to the Romney campaign so we get an adult in the White House."

My God these people are delusional.

Beyond.   Waaaay beyond.

They're in permanent paranoid psychosis.

The term psychosis is very broad and can mean anything from relatively normal aberrant experiences through to the complex and catatonic expressions of schizophrenia and bipolar type 1 disorder

Practicing for SSD, I'll wager.

I'm working on a bouncy "MadLib" for the DUmmies. I'll post it when I'm done with it, so the DUmmies can just fill in the blanks.

What we need is a gif of a bouncing ball that then goes splat

What is the difference between a primitive and a psychiatric inpatient?

The inpatient may actually get better and lead a productive life and you won't usually need a crowbar to pry their heads out of their backsides.
