My name is Peggy...you all know me, don't you?
Advertisements [?]But there's hidden things, secrets about me, just as there are about all of us...
I am well, and reasonably happy tonight...
I don't know why I'm posting this...
Somehow, I felt it might be a good idea...
Remember...I love you all!

13. My dear MilesColtrane...
Of course, we all have a dark side...
I do too...
And you're right: it makes us human.
You might be surprised about the stuff I'm hiding...just sayin'!
Thank you for your kind words...

24. Hell
I wish I had my own back sometimes my friend
would that I could practice that which I preach.
I am hard on myself way too much, and I just cannot stop. But I cannot go down that road right now.
I was once a confident and sure man. I am but a shell of that now.
Maybe someday....
Most my friends are dead now, and the only ones I have left are here on DU. Pretty sad really when the only people you have left to talk to you have never met and probably never will
Sorry for the rant. Yet another funeral this weekend and another milestone passed. And she was only 45.

I'm wondering why the greedy thorn primitive just doesn't take out a full-page advertisement in the Wichita newspapers, telling of her woes with her allegedly-drunken husband.

Peggy has moisture for WC Green.
I suspect he's the driving force behind her "erotic" poetry.
Anyone else notice she never addresses him as dear ?

I'm more of a mind to wonder why her husband is a drunk.
Then again, he's married to a DUmbass.......

Oh, Peggy in CA, one of my favourite DUmmies. I'm sad to see her in such a funk, she must have one unhappy marriage.

Ah, it has been awhile...My newest poem...
Enjoy!
Ponderous hips move over me
Ponderous hands grip my limbs
Your eyes smile into my face
While you take me where I ‘ve never been.
I gasp as you probe me
Your tongue is magic
I twist in your arms
As you warm my skin
With your breath, your kiss
Your kisses reach into me
They nourish us
And we become whole inside each other
The sky darkens with thudding clouds
The trees thrash in the rising wind
But I no longer care
For you shelter me
The rain pelts us
We don’t feel it
The grass dampens
But our love heats the ground
And far, far below
our wild souls’ howling
Can be heard.
Take me there, again
I beg you...
Give me your strength
Let me hide beneath your bones
And I will give you my grace, my rhythm...
My swaying hips and my smile
You will be powerless under my enchantment
Let the graying rains pour down on us
We will laugh
While we love one another
Let the ocean flood our shores
We will float away
And our souls will watch with joy
We will sail over the world
And warm it with our loving
We are caught in the snare
Of loving one another
We crawled from the primordial ooze
Long ago
We did not know
Who we were then
But our souls pursued us
Till our eyes met
And across the story of the planet
We came together

A Poem: Writing Poetry is Like Making Love...
Writing poetry
Is like making love
The tingle starts
And inside
You come alive
Your vision expands
As your pupils dilate
The words touch your memory
They take you back to the time
When he touched your body
And brought you gasping
To your knees
Before him.
-
Sitting on a tin can
who can?
We can!
No body else can!
The tin can we can
can can
We can!
-
:cheersmate:
I like them both. Peggy couldn't been talking about Chris Matthew's reactiom to Obama here:
The tingle starts
And inside
You come alive
:-)
Your vision expands
As your pupils dilate
Now drugs again.

Her poems aren't bad, it's just you picture the author when you read the eroticism. She should use a pen name. Just sayin'

The words "tongue" and "probe" should never be in any sentence attributed to CP. :-)
-
I think her poetry is pathetic and juvenile. Kind of reminds me of the sappy stuff we used to write in high school when we were trying to sound oh-so-sophisticated.

Peggy is "Do" reincarnated. Either that, or he GTFO of Dodge when all of the other Nike-wearing moonbats started dying off and changed it's identity.

For some reason I thought this article fitted in nicely here.
Kureishi: writing courses are 'new mental hospitals'
Charlotte Higgins
Tuesday May 27, 2008
The Guardian
The novelist, screenwriter and playwright Hanif Kureishi has launched a withering attack on university creative writing courses, calling them "the new mental hospitals".
Kureishi, himself a research associate on the creative writing course at Kingston University, said: "One of the things you notice is that when you switch on the television and a student has gone mad with a machine gun on a campus in America, it's always a writing student.
"The writing courses, particularly when they have the word 'creative' in them, are the new mental hospitals. But the people are very nice."

I think you have something there-I picture Peggy doing all the moist, tingling, gasping things, and I want to swear off sex for good.
