I drew a new Mittens cartoon...

I haven't drawn any new stuff in quite a while, but I couldn't let this election cycle go by. I'm working on Queen Ann's portrait now.

This is the second piece of...erm...work I've seen from the evil twin. Not any better. In fact, it sucks out loud. My father could draw you killing yourself, and people would be lined up around the block to buy the image. (Going to the highest bidder, of course) He has artwork hanging on various people's walls across the nation, in fact. This piece of artwork-term used very loosely-wouldn't be fit to print out, and throw in the toilet before I sat down.
His little message on the bottom is not only NOT clever, it's been thought of by slightly smarter people. You fail again, Atman.
The usual schmoozing ensues though. I wonder when the primitives as a whole will stop kissing it's ass, and go on the offensive as they did with Nadin?

The only college class I struggled in was art appreciation. I should have taken something else to fullfill the humanities requirement.
I still can't tell a Picasso from a van Gogh, and frankly I don't really care who painted what.
But am I missing something here, is this satire, or is this just that poorly done?

As long as they persist in their belief that conservative women are downtrodden by the men in their lives they will continue to misunderstand our motives. I am not motivated by my uterus. In a way, democrats are very sexist on this issue, they seem to assume that women care more about their reproductive "rights" than about matters like the economy.

The primitives don't have to go after Atman, because inevitably he's rude to someone, making that primitive think less highly of him than we do.

They also miss the very basic point that "YOU" and the person inside your uterus are not the same person. That fact is just beyond the thought capacity of "the most intelligent and educated."

Agreed. My beau and I discussed this recently and I said it floored me the sexism inherent among liberals. It seems to me in their world women are nothing but sex organs. Same for gays since they define them by their sexuality rather then more enduring and substantive factors. Too bad your average 'fall for the one liners' voters out there can't handle a thought beyond a bumper sticker to discern the issue with this. I can't tell you the number of women on social media who try to call out conservatives for waging war on women when they do a damn fine job of it themselves.

OT: GOBUCKS, I find the large sig pics irritating. I imagine those in rural areas with slower internet access find them tiresome as well. Why not put them in the photo section? We don't have to see them over and over again.

I'm in that boat myself, being on satellite as the only available allegedly-broadband provider, but the pics aren't that big a problem. What annoys me is the posts that have one or two words telling me to watch some YouTube clip, or just a hyperlink to some farflung site, with no original commentary by the poster explaining what is good, bad, or worthwhile about it. I'm sure the posters (Mostly) all have the best intentions, but that kind of stuff eats up my limited bandwidth like crazy and the videos that are over about a minute and a half could tell me how to turn iron to gold and they still wouldn't be worth the very long time it takes for them to fully load, so I think of it pretty much as spam.

I often find them intertaining.

I've never been good at describing Freudian stuff to others--only that I myself appear to understand it pretty well--but anyway, in doing this, Atman is betraying yet more evidence that subconsciously, he's as odd as a three-dollar bill.
Of course he's married (or maybe not any more) and has sired children, but it's always been sort of obvious which gender he prefers, given the gender he holds in contempt.
It's kind of--not quite, but very similar--along the same lines as to why homosexual acts are so ubiquitous, so common, in the Arab world (not Moslem, but Arab).
Atman might as well come out of the closet, at the same time admitting he subconsciously prefers being the submissive one.

Apparently, they aren't transparent to a lot of women. I've already asked friends of mine who believe this schtick what is wrong with asking them to prioritize a menial amount for birth control(for example) in the same way they prioritize their cell phone or a new pair of shoes. I hear a lot of stuttering, but no real explanation other then the obvious one: actual earned income is only for discretionary items not 'needs'. Everyone else should pay for 'needs'. Add that in with the whole "I'm a woman and not supposed to like Republicans' meme many women have been fed over the years and voila, there's your reason this gets bought--both out of willing necessity and the adherence to old lines of rhetoric.
I do think I've made some headway when I use the same argument wasp did above and ask why they are comfortable with the left reducing them to their genitalia. Asking if they are ok with a sexist line in order to advance a politician's campaign.
