THIS is history. I was impressed, but the wife grew bored. We stayed there about an hour. We walked through all the rooms and it still well built today.

That's awesome! I remember that...haven't been in years though.
We are going to Florida for almost 3 weeks starting in mid-ish June. I don't think we'll have time to go though since we'll be staying with my dad closer to south Florida.

How I would love to go back and visit the Fort again. :) (I'm about 3 hours from St. Augustine, so maybe in August between semesters...) Once again, thanks for posting some great photos, RY.

They do, but not while we were there.

My wife and I went to the Castillo earlier this month. As we were leaving they fired off the cannon. That's the third fort I've visited. The other two were Fort Pulaski and Fort Sumter.
