can i melt tar in the microwave?

I need to patch my roof. It seems like it should work, but I'd hate to end up scraping tar off the inside of the microwave.

Tar in the microwave? Why yes you can dummie. Done it many times myself.  You put it in a big plastic bowl, set the microwave to max, set the timer for 99.99, and then go hit the bong for an hour and half. When your done with the bong, just go in and grab you a spatula and slather it all over the leak.

Problem solved.

Only works if you use a stainless steel bowl. Add some bleach, and ammonia to make its faster and better for mother gia.
 

Make sure all the windows and doors are closed and the oven is on.
