Jesse needs to learn to read what he is signing.  Mom needs to kick him the nuts everyday for about a month.

I have a cat I need to take to get a "flea bath".  :-)

Seriously that is horrible that someone could make a mistake like that.

That is why, whenever I take Oreo to the vet's, I stay with her.  I want Oreo to be as calm as she can be in the vet's office.  (I did watch her discharge her anal glands on the vet's white coat once.  Took all I could muster to keep from bursting out laughing.)

When your vet's office looks like this:

...your mental alarm bells should be going into overdrive when they offer a "flea bath".

I don't know where to go here as a new study on FOX says the 4Th most reason for death to a human is a doctors error.

Facts, Doctors are suppose to know the human body, but when it comes to sex, what does a female doctor really know about a male Prostrate of a Male doctor know about the symptoms of a female body ????

That said, the Vets are in a heck of a mess, so many different Body's to learn and none of the Doctors can in any way come close to experiencing systems of a problem with an animal of any sex.

So these vets have to go one paper work in the office, if out in the field say tending live stock they can observe the ill and  have a margin of error.

As a doctor working with animals, one is faced with many cats or dogs in their office with    PUT DOWN orders.    Theirs is not to question why a pet is to be put down, theirs to to follow the OWERS directives.   All is paper work and the owners must sign for it.

The government is really on the tail of the Vets for every OZ of drug used to treat a pet,  there has to be a paper trail and there must be concent forms.

So a lesson for all, bring your pet to the vet for any reason make sure you read the papers placed before you, be it a flee bath or just having their nails clipped. Lesson No. 2, as when placing a loved one into a hospital ask allot of questions, don't just dump them sign papers you do not read and run for the door.   That $10 dollar procedure to get a flee bath may cost you $200+ in the long run. Not to mention your pet.
