No movie can really do appropriate justice to the novel.

Post by: Chris_ on September 21, 2012, 09:31:10 PM: I wish someone would publish an abridged copy without some of the unnecessary sex scenes. Not because of any prudishness on my part, but it makes an already long book even longer. I found myself skimming over large parts of the book to get back to the basic storyline while trying to avoid as many tangents as possible.
