Title: Do the DUmmies know they are going to lose in November? Or are they Stoopid?
Post by: Mr Mannn on September 18, 2012, 10:57:04 PM
Dummies seem to eat up every oversampled poll released. Its like a drug to them.
Is it all bravado? Do they really see the writing on the wall?

Or are they working themselves up for another meltdown and DU lock up on Nov 6th?

Its there a 3rd option? They do know they are going to lose but they think its because the GOP will rig voting machines

I don't think they have a clue.  The promise of "Hope and Change" still works for them.  They can't understand that what they dream of is unrealistic and unsustainable.

I don't even think the average libs idea of hope and change meshes with what Obama and his backers idea is.

This is really looking like what is going on.  Rigging the polls to set up charges of stealing the election by a completely complicit and willing Blamestream® media.  These polls really started to look weird when it came out that models were predicting a 2010 size (R) turnout and enthusiasm going even higher.  The meltdowns are going to be epic.  Deep down, they know teh Won is in trouble.

I feel many of them don't - that they believe deep down inside that the bad polling will depress conservative voters enough, allowing the media to drag The One over the finish line.

Hyper partisans such as us and the DUmbasses only fight for 1 constituency: the middle.

They need to convince the middle that Obama would've won too if it weren't for those meddling kids.

I did the same. There should be an all of the above option. This has the remnants of 1980 all over again. I hope it turns out like it.

Every day the Stupid are coming up with another reason to claim that Romney is going to lose. I can't wait to see what it is today.

As dutiful DUmmies they follow, to the letter, the MSM's call for Romney to just give up, and quit. All the polls say so......

Sheesh, Romney is ahead (as long as you use a legitimate poll). How can they say that?

Just this morning the, wait for it, SECRET video is now a sure thing to topple Romney. To prove it, they use a skewed poll showing Obummer ahead 50-49%. Oh, wait, you said legitimate poll, never mind.

They rely on the false polls. It must give them some sort of hope.

... all the crap that 0bama is pulling could work.

I agree, and for those reading, no, I'm not trying to be a downer or letting the MSM get to me.

There's whole groups of people, many of which are blacks and Latinos, who vote in blocks.  They don't look at the issues individually, but rather they see others they view as their peers or their leaders saying vote this way or that way, and they do.  They have a strong identity with staying in lock-step with those of their own background (people who look like them) and all the sheep run to the same pasture.  The false pretence of "white European man is keeping you down" plays very well with these groups, it's easy for them to believe that they aren't doing as well simply because others, mainly white man, is doing well.  And the Dems know how to play their envy and jealousy by telling them they'll make sure the "playing field is leveled."  It doesn't matter if it's true or not, it works.

Now for the House and Senate, the Republicans will hold and probably increase their lead in the House and they very well could be the majority in the Senate.  As for prez, they automatically have California (55), New York (29), and Illinois (20) sewn up, which is 104 votes.  He's 38.5% of the way there before it even starts.  There's just too many stupid people out there wanting freebies.  So while my vote for Romney is unwavering, and I fully expect NC to swing back to the Republicans this election, I'm just not seeing it happening nationwide on this date.  I hope to goodness I'm as wrong as wrong can be.

I doubt many are seeing the same thing I'm seeing, but I bet I'm not far wrong.

I quote a headline; "EVERY DAY A DISASTER," summing up what's been happening for the last couple of weeks.

The presidency of Barack Milhous is eroding, disintegrating, and quickly, because of his sheer incompetence.  The guy isn't very bright--in fact, he's probably the lowest-IQ president in American history--and sought the office only for purposes of ego, no other reason.  He's obviously a tool--of certain behind-the-scene individuals--or the creation of white liberal guilt, or both.  The whole facade is crumbling.

His behavior and conduct is similar with nothing more than that of Nicholas II in late winter 1917 or Wilhelm II in autumn 1918, a couple of months before they abdicated.

And he does have a character similar with theirs.  Big ego, but weak will and no principles.

In the manner of incompetent people over their heads, he's going to try to assert his will, but it doesn't matter.  There seems a general popular attitude that he doesn't count any more.  And the more desperately he tries to assert his will, the more catastrophic the end of his administration.

I fully expect that the second and third presidential debates in October will be cancelled, under the "cover" that he's "too busy" dealing with crises of one nature or another, but really, they'll be cancelled because he's chicken.

I'm not God and don't know and understand everything, and can't tell the future, but this is what it looks like to me, watching the whole fiasco as if a show on television.

This is a REALLY tough question, because both answers are correct.  Yes, the DUmbshits know they're about to get shellacked in November, because they seize upon any news story, bouncy of bath house rumor fed to them which would indicate in their wee brains that The Holy WON of Chicago has this race in the bag, but by the same token, they hold so tightly to that propaganda they seize upon to convince themselves that they truly believe their own line of bullshit that Obama won't even have broken a sweat when he crosses the finish line in November.

If 13 point over sample for the donks only provides a 5 point lead for 0, then 0bama is toast. As I have said before these over sampled poll are not to depress republican turnout but trying to keep the bottom from falling out of the democrat base. All the donks have is "I always vote democrat", that is it. When the Reagan democrats look rationally at the last four years they have to vote ABO. When Those democrats see that other people are against Obama, it will be a cascading event that kills the democrat party at every level.  IMHO, that is what the polls and non-stop fellating of 0bama is all about. This is how dictatorships end, in a sudden collapse as all of the people understand that they are not alone in seeing the real world and for what the dictator is.

I guess another good analogy would be with the Shah of Iran in the late 1970s; he thought everything was going rather well, and found it a rude surprise when the people just got tired of him--to the point of picking someone even worse.  And Washington in September 2012 looks very much like Teheran in November 1978 (a year before the U.S. embassy was taken over), what with the rampant corruption of the leader's entourage.

However, unlike the cases of Russia in 1917 and Iran in 1978, I don't anticipate Barack Milhous being replaced by someone worse.

Oh my god, I'm missing bunches and bunches of them.

Haile Selassie of Ethiopia in 1975.

The dénouements are all very similar; what happens when events and people overtake a not-very-bright leader.

I agree with Coach.  It'll break in the last two weeks.  Romney will win by 6 points, and at least 100 ev.

My British associate got the best presidential betting odds on Romney, since it is ILLEGAL for Americans to bet online, as well as to bet on politics (though InTrade seems to get away with this for now).

Bottom line: My associate is betting £8,500 ($13,750) on Romney, getting 3:1 odds (+300). When Romney wins, my associate will renumerate me an undisclosed amount. What is amazing, though, is that most of the other oddsmakers are actually a lot better. Arbitrage betting must be going off the chart, but I frankly think this election won't be close, especially in the swing states. Yes, anything can happen, but right now the mainstream media is keeping the odds skewed.

(Arbitrage betting is when a bettor bets a prorated amount on the underdog with a bookmaker giving the largest odds, and another prorated amount on the favorite with a bookmaker giving the tightest odds; so no matter who wins, the bettor makes a profit).

but what do Las Vegas oddsmakers think?

Quote
Las Vegas Oddsmaker Wayne Allyn Root predicted that Barack Obama will suffer a massive loss in the General Election even though the current polls do not show Obama necessarily losing.  Root stated,

Forget the polls. My gut instincts as a Vegas oddsmaker and common sense small businessman tell me this will be a historic landslide and a world-class repudiation of Obama’s radical and risky socialist agenda. It's Reagan-Carter all over again.

Root laid out the rationale for his prediction.  He does have a history of successful political predictions.

Most political predictions are made by biased pollsters, pundits, or prognosticators who are either rooting for Republicans or Democrats. I am neither. I am a former Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee, and a well-known Vegas oddsmaker with one of the most accurate records of predicting political races.

I have always maintained that oddsmakers who professionally set up book have a far greater incentive to put out true odds, as they live and die with the vig, or the house take, so they need to make sure they take as much money on balance as possible.

Hell KR, Reagan was down in the "polls" back when he was running against Carter. We know what happened there.

I look at it this way KR... it makes it that much more fun when they get the ball yanked out from them once again.   :-)

Now it's debatable as to whether the MSM polls help or hurt their cause... which is obozo getting another term. I can see both sides of the argument. Personally I think the MSM is a lot like the dummies. They want x result in any poll and they will make sure they get it. Then when it don't happen they just cannot believe it. The MSM has really lost whatever credibility they had and I think they haven't faced it. Like dummies, they really do not live in reality. Doing the same thing over and over and insanity and all that.

But it sure is fun to watch when things don't go their way!!!!!

Remember when, oh, about 2005, the sparkling old dude ran a campaign to get the primitives to refer to Alphonse Capote Gore as "President Gore"?

He ran with that for a while, but it didn't seem to take hold.
