This needs to happen more often. It reminds me of the guy who lit a US flag on fire and managed to engulf himself into flames.

BNN: FDA Seeks to Impose New Safety Standards
Washington DC - In the wake of a recent death in Pakistan where a protester died after inhaling fumes from a burning American flag the FDA and OSHA released a joint statement saying they would soon be issuing new manufacturing guidelines.
"The US ais deeply saddened by the loss of life associated with anti-American sentiments in Pakistan and we feel it is our mission to ensure the safety of protesters worldwide," said Tony Bellaforte, spokesman for the FDA.
Among the new product guidelines would be an extensive QA and testing regimen wherein thousands of American flags would be burned monthly. Some estimates say the falg-burning regulations could cost as much as $65 billion monthly prompting a new call for higher taxes from the progressive wing of congress.
While some consider the loss of any life tragic many questioned the need for such strigent regulations. The FDA admitted there was not an epidemic of flag-burning related injuries but they wanted to flag-burners assurances that their concerns would be answered and that the US flag could be burned safely in an eco-friendly manner.
Mr. Bellaforte asserted that people had the right to burn flags as part of the freedom of speech in calling for such things as the censorship of upsetting films and the abolition of non-Islamic religions and as such the government was required to provide the means for them to do so without harming themselves or the environment.
"We know deaths from fume inhalation are rare in these instances but if you look at the flag-burning population here in the US I don't think that anyone could deny that there are serious instances of reduced mental capabilities corresponding to the repeated burning of American flags. We owe these people and I think they would agree."

WHY? Why couldn't that have happened to Bill Ayers 40+ years ago.

Anti-American protesters, take note: burning US flags may be hazardous to your health.
Pakistan's Express Tribune reported today that a Pakistani man perished from smoke inhalation after participating in the charring of a US flag, at an anti-American political protest aimed at the eternally-controversial "Innocence of Muslims" film, an allegation backed up by Forbes.

This is the best thing I've read all week. I thought about putting in in The Lounge, or something. A more populated forum, but I figured at least a couple would see it here, and it's a more appropriate forum.
Finding this makes my day. It just does. Karma in action. :lmao: :rotf:

American Flag Nearly Dies After Inhaling Fumes Of Burning Protesters
An American Flag bought online for an Anti-U.S. protest nearly died of smoke inhalation yesterday from the fumes of burning protesters who in an attempt to light the flag on fire, instead negligently set themselves ablaze.
The flag, who goes by the name of Serial Number: 01023492, claims that all he remembers was being taken out of his box by a number of apparently disgruntled Middle Eastern men, which he identified instantly by their anti-American chants and misspelled signs.

I submit there was now way he could know this for sure, your honor. How does Mr. 01023492 know these weren't your common San Fransisco variety leftists? The misspelled signs, the anti-American chants, hell, even the oppressive stench would be damned near identical in both cases.
