There is absolutely no reason for Romney's numbers to be climbing. Usually polls react to good and bad news, here Romney is being roundly criticized by everyone, including Republicans, and his numbers are going up?
Romney's not running the country, dumbass. Romney is not (mis)handling the Libya fiasco. That's your President.

Do they really think that a crappy economy, high unemployment and high gas prices are going to be ignored by people? and that this election after 4 years of the Obama mess will see him actually win? While the new Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll released today shows a one point Romney lead in the presidential race, the new Reuters/Ipsos poll of the presidential race released yesterday shows a slim, within the margin of error, three percent lead for President Obama over Mitt Romney. The survey, that includes a massive over-sample of Democratic voters, has Obama leading by a 48 percent to 45 percent edge. Among registered voters, the survey has a margin of error of 3.4 percent. This poll is doubly skewed, it heavily over-samples Democratic voters and massively under-samples independent voters. Unskewed, the data from this poll would indicate a Romney lead of 51 percent to 42 percent.
To manufacture this results, the Reuters/Ipsos poll is based on a sample that includes 572 Democrats, 439 Republicans and only 78 independents. In percentages, this is 52.5 percent Democrats, 40.3 percent Republicans and 7.2 independents among the 1089 adults surveyed for the poll. The survey clearly under-sampled independent and Republican voters.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 50 percent approve of the president's performance while 46 disapprove of Obama's performance as president. While Democrats approve of the president's performance by a 88 percent to 10 percent margin, Republicans disapprove by a 91 percent to eight percent margin. Among independents, the president has a disapproval margin of 48 percent to 39 percent.

In fact, if the polls were righter, they'd show Barack Milhous with a 30% lead over Romney.
After all, Barack Milhous himself said in May 2009, five months into his presidency, "mission accomplished; the recession's over."

Maybe they're thinking about the 43 straight months of unemployment above 8%, number of people on food stamps, 16 trillion dollar debt, 3 straight years of 1.3 trillion dollar deficit, skyrocketing gas prices, falling housing prices, civil unrest all over the Muslim world, potential conflict between Japan and China, and rampant cronyism, jackass. :bird:

The only valid polls are the ones showing obama in the lead.
The funniest poll results are the ones that are voted on line. They post a link then ask every DUmmy to vote for the democrat stance, swaying the results. They then post the results as evidence of an overwhelming democrat party electorate.
