Why I have frequently criticized Christianity but not Islam in my life:

It is pretty simple actually: Because I grew up with the Christian beliefs. I was born a Catholic, later became a Protestant, later became an Agnostic.

When I criticize or even mock certain parts of the Christian beliefs, it is because I know what I am talking about. I know the religion and its institutions, and the beliefs are beliefs which I was born into and later rejected. They are beliefs I am deeply familiar with, because I used to hold them myself. I was a kid who got pissed off from seeing "Life of Brian". I feel like I own those beliefs as much as any believer. They are mine to criticize or make fun of.

With Islam (or Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Scientology, Ralienism...) it is different. Thinking about those will always be an intellectual exercise to me, but nothing more, since I did not grow up within their institutions. I may have a theoretical discussion about them, and criticize them, but to outright mock them will always feel like shitting on someone else's carpet to me.

The -3000 is even incorrect. We have to count the whole bloody trail every foreigner, and every one of their own citizens these radical pricks have killed in the name of their precious "Allah." Every woman, and child. Every cowardly act.

I had put a minus sign at first but decided that the scorecard would be deaths when the towers came down. That is why Christians got a zero.

Plain and simple the Duches are scared of muslims and not of Christians, Jews, and Catholics.

As soon as the latter start killing people in the name of GOD, they will shut their mouths pronto.

Except when praying in public the loudest.

Yeah, but I didn't have enough zeroes on the keyboard for that...

I understood that at first, but it seemed like you were giving thm a positive score for an evil act. Just felt wrong, yaknow?

Yeah, that's what it's really all about.  They have the 'courage of their convictions' only as long as it doesn't actually cost them anything or entail any risks.

When the Muslim knock at the door comes it won't be to tell you about Islam, it will be to tell you that you either convert, become a slave or have your head separated from the rest of your body. Christianity will start looking a lot less annoying then.

Someone was arguing with me that Christianity and Islam both have radicals.

I replied that Christians have radicals, but Muslims have moderates.

I must be a bad Christian....I LOVE "Life of Brian".

That's about where that would end at my house. A phone call to the ambalamps would be next.

Hell yeah!

Centurion: You know the penalty laid down by Roman law for harboring a known criminal?

Matthias: No.

Centurion: Crucifixion!

Matthias: Oh.

Centurion: Nasty, eh?

Matthias: Could be worse.

Centurion: What you mean "Could be worse"?

Matthias: Well, you could be stabbed.

Centurion: Stabbed? Takes a second. Crucifixion lasts hours. It's a slow, horrible death.

Matthias: Well, at least it gets you out in the open air.

Centurion: You're weird!

The Mooselimb style of Crucifixion takes 3 days...Allah is compassionate and wise.

Funny, DUmbasses, I don't ever hear about these stories coming from the Christian community:

Even after winning asylum in US, Iranian Christian convert lives in fear   (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/09/18/iranian-christian-convert-fearful-retaliation-despite-being-granted-asylum-in/)

.....or stories like Salman Rushdie or any of these:

...who fear for their lives.
