Title: DUmpmonkey Favorite Topic - Fox News On TVs In Public
Post by: GOBUCKS on September 11, 2012, 10:41:21 PM
DUmmy rsmithnumbers, who jumped the shark long ago with the hilarious cover letter he composed for his wife's resume, revisits one of the tiredest of all DUmpmonkey themes, Fox News on TVs in public places.

It's a very lame bouncy, but I at least give him credit for the opening "so".

So My Conversation With Hotel Management About Television
Last edited Tue Sep 11, 2012, 11:21 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1)

My wife and I had to go back to Seattle to scrap a car out that has been in storage for two months since we moved to Oregon in June.We also visited with our granddaughter.

The Hotel was a Best Western in the 4 star range. We checked in Sunday night and yesterday when we went down to the breakfast room for the provided breakfast every channel was on the FAUX Propaganda Network so we grabbed our grub and went to the room. After bringing the service ware back to the kitchen I stopped by the front desk and spoke with the clerk. I asked him why is it that every major chain hotel pumps that network into their public media without consideration of CNN or MSNBC or at least put a network on each of the 4 large screen televisions with the 4th being the cartoon network for the kids. He of course said that is a management mandate what is played., I closed by thanking him for his time and said Faux offends me please pass this on to your manager.

Well this morning we went to get breakfast and guess what.. MSNBC was on 1 screen, CNN on another, Fox and YES the cartoon network. On the way out the desk clerk said that they had never thought about the viewing consideration before and that this would now be the norm at their property.

I got a free night in the future for the suggestion.

A four-star Best Western!! Is that Michelin Guide, or Yelp?

That's along the same lines as a four-star Motel 6.

Bed free of most major insects, hallways more or less deodorized and devoid of most meth addicts.

OK, there is a lot of crap going on in the Middle East being conducted by the Chicago Brotherhood East, aka the Muslim Brotherhood. With Americans being killed and the start of another crisis in Egypt, I decided to bring in some light fare. Namely, DUmmie rsmith was peeved that the only decent, balanced that damned conservative blowhard news station, Fox News, was blaring out of 4 tv sets. Said DUmpmonkey and spouse were so peeved, they took their breakfast back to the room.

Here goes:

"Scrap a car in storage"... WTF? Call Kars for Kids and take the tax deduction! OOPS... you don't have taxes to deduct... nevermind.

The DUmprat had decided that Fox News had always been played on every station. Gee, I wonder why? OK, it's plausible that they changed all the stations later on. But the Cartoon Network? Sorry, doesn't jive...

And COMPING YOU a $60 hotel room for "suggesting" they change the channel? THAT doesn't jive, not in this economy... OK, time for the orgasmic rat responses.

Altogether now... "Kumbaya, Barack, No More Fox! Kumbaya, my Obama, no more Fox..."

You earned your reward.

Good that management recognized your opinion as good marketing.

This is DUmprat Capitalism at it's finest.

Great story!

And thanks for sharing.  Hopefully more people will pick up your example and make their opinions on Faux Snooze known to management.  We are not taking this BS lying down anymore!

Nope... we NEED our dose of Ed and Al in the morning!!

Daneel Olivaw

Brain dead management.

Or, I bet you that they are gutless management. The TVs will go back to False News once you are gone.

Good score on the free night, though.

If you ever go back to the same hotel see what they are playing and re-post it here.

The only "score" this dumprat got was another baggie of Seattle's finest hemp. Sheesh.

When you are in such fear of a news channel that you can't even eat in its presence you are pretty much a coward.

When you consider getting someone to change a TV channel a great accomplishment your life is pretty pathetic.

When you make up a story about a news channel that makes you cower from its presence and how you got someone to change the channel you are an ignorant loser who is beyond pathetic and has a strong possibility of mental illness.

Congrats on finding your kind of people on DU.

If I am in a place and there is something on the TV I don't like. I ignore it.
What is wrong with these people? ::)

He just can't handle the hot women on Fox News.

His shrew wife probably bitched at him about gawking at them. "You think she's prettier than me...blah, blah, blah...."

He went back to the room so she would shut up.

Or, I bet he's one of those who gripes about everything, and that's why his room was comped.

  It's a daydream that he typed out.  He wishes it happened.  Four different channels blaring, including the racous and irritating Cartoon network, at his suggestion.  The guests, trying to wake up and start the day peacefully,  love all this cacophony so much, business booms.  He gets a freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee  night for his genius!

:lmao:   I love the rsmith DUmprat.  I nominate him every year, but he never gets legs.

They aren't going to listen to one person voice his opinion about something like that, and then change the whole company (As those retards at the DUmp think). Epic fail ...

Hell, the room rent would be worth it to see every TV on Fox News in the morning. :-)
