Title: Protesters set fire to U.S. embassies in Cairo, Libya
Post by: Chris_ on September 11, 2012, 02:16:08 PM
Angry protesters climbed the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday and hauled down the American flag, replacing it with a black flag with Islamic emblems.

The incident prompted U.S. Embassy guards to fire off a volley of warning shots as a large crowd gathered outside, apparently upset about the production of a film thought to insult the Prophet Mohammed, said CNN producer Mohammed Fahmy, who was on the scene.

Others expressed more general grievances about U.S. policy, chanting anti-American slogans and holding up bits of a shredded American flag.

An embassy operator told CNN that the facility had been cleared of diplomatic personnel earlier Tuesday, ahead of the apparent threat, while Egyptian riot police were called to help secure the area.

Earlier, the Embassy issued a notice on its website warning U.S. citizens that "several different groups are calling for demonstrations" in Cairo on Tuesday "to protest a range of issues."

The incident occurred on the 11th anniversary of the September 11 attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania, as crowds gathered in somber remembrance of those killed

I'm not (so sure, I mean).

I wonder if the Moose-limbs are going to be as accommodating, tolerant and forgiving as we've been when the pendulum swings back, and we plant the US Flag in the smoking, glowing glass bowl that used to be Mecca.  Or even better yet, stand and applaud when the Israelis plant the Star of David there?

The Arab world may not be ready for democracy aka: mob rule (I beg to differ - the Arab world epitomizes the pinnacle of mob rule - but this is beside the point), but all children of God are entitled to the birthright of freedom, and the sooner we can crush the religion that seeks to chain all humanity under it's perverted vision of "God", the better it will be for mankind as a whole.

Do I see that happening any time before the Millenial Reign?  Nope.  But a boy can still dream in America (for now, at least).

Mob sets fire to US consulate in Benghazi: witness

An armed mob has attacked the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi and set fire to the building, witnesses reported, in what they said was a protest at a film they said offended Islam.

A little earlier, Libya’s deputy interior minister Wanis al-Shari, told AFP the crowd had attacked the building and that information was confirmed by the US embassy in the capital Tripoli.

Hell yeah Muslims are child molesters. They sanction marriages as young as 12 and younger if the world isn't watching them. Muhammed marries a 6 year old and consummated it when she was 9. Muhammad, the most perfect example of a man, even left instructions for his followers on how to have sex with babies.

An armed mob protesting over a film they said offended Islam, attacked the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi on Tuesday and set fire to the building, witnesses reported.

The attack happened on the same day as a similar group of hardliners waving black banners attacked the US embassy in Cairo and tore down the US flag, but it was not immediately clear if the two incidents were coordinated.

The protests came on the eleventh anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, when US cities were targeted by hijacked planes.

I have no idea what this film is (or if it even exists), but i think its just an excuse to attack on the anniversary of 9/11.

Anyone see this yet? Wonder how Obama will handle the intel? Personally, if it were me that was leader of the free world, and we got attacked again, I would have no mercy. No empathy. No care about them at all. I would pull an "Under Seige" after I warned Netanyahu, and Israel. I'd keep it all hushed up for a short while, and then I would send over 2 tomahawks to the middle east with nukes attached to them. No prisoners. If we get attacked again; nevermind on the scale of 9/11 or greater; I would personally strike down the face of defiance. Nevermind another term. Nevermind prosecution. Nevermind any of it. These vermin would take full, painful responsibility. PERIOD!

Extreme? Maybe, but that's me.

Oh, and if 2 nuclear tomahawks didn't turn the mid east into glass, I'd send more.

I'd make it well known that ANY attack on America that had the spread of Islam as its motivating factor, in OUR estimation, would be grounds for immediate nuclear strikes on Mecca, Medina, Tehran, Damascus, Tripli, Cairo, and any other capitals of the "Islamic Republics" We won't start shit, but we'll damn well finish it.

A couple of millenia ago, all one would have to say was, "Civis Romanus Sum"--I am a Roman citizen.  Utterance of that fact would stop most folks right there, because they knew if they proceeded to harm the maker of that statement, the whole fury of the Legions would befall anyone who violated that citizen.

And so it should be today.  If someone says, "I am an American," it should be taken to mean that if any harm should come to that citizen, the full wrath, both political and military, will fall on the heads of those responsible.

Sadly, our enemies do not fear us, our friends do not respect us.  And this administration doesn't care.

Reports this morning are that there are two American war ships sitting outside of Libya. I guess they are waiting to see if the attacks were planned by the taliban in remembrance of 9/11.

I agree with Revolution. We warn Bibi and Israel, move all embassy's and anyone working at them out, evacuate all American soldiers, and bomb the piss out of them. If they want to play games, we can play. There would be nothing left if I was in charge....And if any country came to the aid of said countries getting flushes, they would get the same.

I guarentee if things get really bad, I'll be going to my towns gun shop, and just getting myself a shotgun, a rifle, and ammo, as I'm sure others will)
