I'm giving them time to learn. The benefit of the doubt. It's only week 1. It's because of the unionista refs that these replacements have to do the job in the first place.

Screw that--I saw so many shitty/blown calls that even Helen Keller would have caught.

They had the whole preseason.  They still suck.

What happens when one of these dipshits blows a call or doesn't call something that changes the result of a game?  What then?

I know refs aren't perfect, but Jesus and Mary and Joseph man, there are people who know.  There are people who don't know.  These poor dumb ****ers don't even SUSPECT!

The Seattle/Arizona game was the worst I saw. There were a few boinks in the Packer game. They're not good, but I'm sticking with my thought that they have to develope more.

Now after last night's game, I'm calling for public execution.

This shit's gotta STOP.  NOW.

I thought that way after the helmet to helmet against Romo that didn't get called on SUnday, and the cheap shot to Sean Lee the week before, but Ware got the penalty for helping a guy out of bounds.

But yeah, it's bad.

The Romo hit was bad but the Lee hit was legit IMO. That's just a block and by WR no less.

With having to work, I didn't see this weekend's game, but I did see the hit on Lee last week.  I think that it was legit, too.

Now let’s just hope there aren’t any former Puppy Bowl refs calling games in the NFL either.

I always, paranoid-ically speaking, think that the refs are picking on my team.

But after that one replacement was found out to be an open fan of the Saints...I began to wonder if I was really all that paranoid.

But seriously, these guys aren't even the Division I guys.

This is the equivalent of replacing NFL players with junior high school kids.  (at least three levels below the standard)

Now, some people are saying that the NFL is being "generous" with what they have offered the Real Refs.

But people should stop counting other people's money.  To me $189,000 for 20 games, plus first class travel arrangements would be really neat.  BUT I don't have the skill set, nor do I think that I could get the skill set that NFL Real Refs have.

What is holding the contract up is the equivalent of $60,000/year/team over 5 years.

The NFL owners can just extort that much more from the cities that they play in.

And I don't have a lot of sympathy for the owners.

I think that it is hard to sympathize (except Green Bay of course) with owners like Snyder or Jones.

Even the owner of the team I like  Jed York...the money used to buy the 9ers came from the brutal Youngstown mafia.

the real refs may be back by this weekend, according to ESPN:

Maybe the Greenbay call was right?

I don't think on any level it was right.  The nfl simply doesn't care about its product or its producers.

To the people who want to condemn the real refs as greedy:

They have obviously shown that just not anyone can do it.

Therefore, they deserve the money they make and the benefits too.
