Don't really have anything planned. This is just mental health time for me.
I'm going to the store. I plan to eat well and sleep until I'm done sleeping. Watch a few movies.
and maybe I'll find time to squeeze in a chore.
Not going anywhere. Not spending a lot. Breakfast out is my favorite meal anyways.

Have fun!
I'm suffering from shortimers disease today and can't concentrate on anything. I just want to start my vacation.

Congratulations! You get to escape your bonds and live my life for a week. Have a great time, but don't forget to thank the Lord there will be a return to your usefulness.
Constant leisure ain't all it's cracked up to be. :o

I remember it took my dad 6 months to get rid of the work ethic. That was tough on him.
He retired to Sun City in AZ. I remember talking to his neighbors. They had an RV and were getting ready to leave for the summer.
I asked, "Where do you plan on heading to?"
"oh...um...North."
"Where north?"
"Not quite sure, just headed somewhere North."
and that was his plan for the whole summer. I have always wanted that freedom.

I remember when my dad officially "retired" -- he was Comptroller at Philadelphia Gear Corp. He then took on 2 part-time jobs as an accountant/bookkeeper and always did 1040s during tax season. Did these things til the day he died, close to 85 years old. Some people can't ever seem to retire . . .
