After her speech at the Republican National Convention last night, Utah mayor Mia Love was declared one of the “rising stars†of the Republican Party.
Described as a “rock star,“ a â€novelty,“ a â€myth-buster,“ and a â€surprise,†she undeniably made an impact.
But some of the woman’s detractors were seemingly not content with her recent success, and took out their frustrations on her Wikipedia page.
Though the original entry has been deleted by Wikipedia, a number of screen shots indicate that Mia Love was called a “dirty, worthless wh*re who sold her soul in the name of big business,“ and a â€house ni**er.â€
Here is what the archives page says now, the offending edits having been deleted for profanity:

And Twitter user Tabitha Hale tweeted out the screen shot where Love was referred to in the most racist of terms.
The comment reads: “So, in other words, she is a total sell-out to the Right Wing Hate Machine and the greedy bigots who control the GOP and love to see Mia Love exploited like the House Ni**er she truly is.â€

I thought she did a fabulous job at the convention. Had no idea who she was before then.
The (D) she's running against in Utah, the incumbent, is from a well-established family, pretty good reputation, essentially a "blue dog," and at first he was considered a shoo-in for re-election.
But apparently the last couple months, it's narrowed; the race is now a toss-up.

This is one of the things I hate most about the Democrats, their double standards in regards to racism. If someone isn't white, they automatically expect and demand them to be a Democrat. They just don't understand how some cultural values integrate more with the GOP than their mess of a party.
