Title: Byrnes GRAND SLAM!
Post by: Bondai on May 25, 2008, 06:16:19 PM
Eric Brynes hit his first career grand slam Sunday in a D'Backs 9-3 win over the Braves. Byrnes has been struggling of late and left the bases loaded earlier in the game, he has also been dealing with an injured ham string, a tough injury to deal with when you play everyday. If we win on Monday we will have won the series against the braves.....

GO D'BACKS!

yep, .217 is struggling.  I like the dbacks, as much as I don't want to admit it.  but I don't like eric byrnes.  he seems like he has tourettes syndrome or something. :-)

LOL!  I just saw the replay of byrnes' HR on baseball tonight.  he swung so hard he nearly fell down, and
it bounced on the top of the wall.

The injured ham string has him off balance.

I didn't know he was playing injured . . . . is that what has him hitting .217?

The best part of it is . . . he hit it off of Tom Glavine.  It's only the second GS that Glavine has ever given up in his 20+ year career.
