0% chance at speech time, as already pointed out. 100% chance that you're a kool aid drinker.
-
100% chance the venue was moved because they couldn't fill the stadium no matter how hard they tried.

It's 4:55 PM and I'm 40 miles south of Charlotte...thunderstorm approching us now from the south-southwest should be over Charlotte in a little while....whoever has the weather machine, if you can't control it, at least unplug it.... :-)

Someone is about to get doused. It should give the convention that wonder wet-dog-and-armpit smell.

<=== Wonders if TOTUS is ready to give the speech of his life tonight. (I already know the SCOAMF in Chief could **** up a rock fight, so I'm not even gonna bother asking if he's ready...) :whatever:
-
I heard on the radio that because the speech was moved indoors, there can't be fireworks, and they didn't change in time to set up a balloon drop.

Well, she does seem to have sex a lot. Enough that she can't seem to find the money to pay for birth control and expects you and me to pay for it.

You know, if she didn't screw so much maybe she could take a full load of courses and not still be in college at age 30.

I thought we got rid of the pandemic poster.

No, and with all the cyber-security initiatives going on not just at nuke plants but pretty much at any controlling centers (ISO, etc.) it would be tough to do that.
TOUGH. Not impossible.

Democrats: Rain won't move big Obama speech indoors
Denver Business Journal by Mark Harden
Date: Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 2:09pm MDT - Last Modified: Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 1:03pm MDT
Planners of the Democratic National Convention, meeting with hundreds of media representatives Tuesday, said presidential candidate Barack Obama will deliver his nomination-acceptance speech at Invesco Field at Mile High come rain or shine.
An August evening rainstorm will not move the convention's climactic moment back to the Pepsi Center, which was to have been the site of the Aug. 28 speech until a venue change was announced Monday, Theodore LeCompte, director of media logistics for the 2008 Democratic National Convention Committee, said at a media "walk through" at the Pepsi Center.
LeCompte did say that especially severe weather might delay Obama's speech "until it's safe." He did not say how bad the weather would have to get to trigger a delay.
So what's the difference?

Obama in town to raise funds and sleep 'in my own bed tonight
Staff report
9:53 p.m. CDT, June 1, 2012
President Barack Obama is in Chicago for three fundraisers tonight, and plans to sleep in his own bed for the first time in a long while.
About 350 people were in the Chicago Cultural Center ballroom at 78 W. Washington St. for the first event, where they danced and talked while waiting for the president.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel opened his introduction of Obama with a riff on his power to deliver: "The president arrives, the rain stops, the sun comes out. Coincidence? I think not."
Emanuel went on to point out Obama could have worked for a high-powered law firm out of law school, but "he picked the South Side, with steelworkers."
If he can supposedly make the sun come out upon arrival, why couldn't he do it again last night?
