When President Barack Obama was inaugurated on January 20, 2009, the National Debt was:
$10,626,877,048,913.08
Increased by 60%.

There's one zero I certainly won't miss.
-
So we hit 16 trillion and 0bama and the dems are going to have a 3 day party. While black people are drowing in debt 0bama will be having a blast.

Bush's fault.

Congrats!

Congrats!
At least we aren't saddled with an atrocious, Gub'mint-run health care system. Oh wait... :bawl:

Wonder if Michelle is still proud of her country.

You should move north. Better health care, lower debt, better economy and a competent leader.

It is past 16 trillion by now.

That site crashed my system. I think it might be getting hammered.
We all know that Captain Zero will blame this all on Bush ...

:hi5: I would, but I hear your border enforcement folks are a little picky about which of their southern neighbors they allow inside the country.
Damn racists!! :rotf:

Well, wear a rag on your head and shout "Allah's-at-the-Bar" and they'll let you in.

Canada is enjoying a good fiscal run. Their pols (the Conservatives anyway) did the unpopular thing and cut budgets , eliminated some waste etc. Currently their economy is primarily driven by energy development. Approx 35%.
Oh Canada.

An interesting statistic, the debt to each tax payer is about $140k. For each citizen it's about 50k, almost 51k. :banghead: :banghead:

What bugs me is we have 6 trillion dollars down the drain...and we have NOTHING to show for it!
There was a lot of talk about the infrastructure and shovel ready jobs...but I still see crumbling bridges and roads...How the heck can you spend 6 trillion and not even have a t-shirt to show for it?
-
There's one of those Internet fed billboards out on 95 with a Sweet 16 ad on it. Uncelebrating 16 trillion in debt. It's been there since last weekend, in anticipation no doubt.
-
If a trillion dollar bills were placed in a single pile, it would reach about a quarter of the way to the moon, but the entire US National Debt would go to the Moon and back twice.
On the other hand, if the trillion dollars were changed into one cent coins and they were put into a pile, it would stretch all the way to the Sun.
So how hard is it to spend a trillion dollars? If you spent one dollar every second, you would have spent a million dollars in twelve days. At that same rate, it would take you 32 years to spend a billion dollars. But it would take you more than 31,000 years to spend a trillion dollars.
The U.S. national debt rises at an average of approximately $3.8 billion per day.
according to the 2008 Financial Report of the United States Government, which is an official United States government report, the total liabilities of the United States government, including future social security and medicare payments that the U.S. government is already committed to pay out, now exceed 65 TRILLION dollars.
-
If you spent one dollar every second,...
Amateurs. I need to introduce them to my wife.
.

I don't even think all the 16 year old teenie bopping girls in this country spend as much as is accumulated on the debt clock in a year-in that same year.
Dear God...

That is way more money spent in the Great Ptarmigan/Bunny War! That spanned for millenniums! :o
That is the weapons, ordinances, and propaganda used. Bunnies spent way more than ptarmigans.

Michelle Obama is worse than bunnies.
Seriously, the way they're fawning over her on MSNBC is vomit inducing.

Yeah, the healthcare system there is so good, people come here in droves.
Lower debt? Maybe because you've been riding our coattails on defense for the better part of a century.
The other two? Those will improve here when we get rid of Obumbles.
