Report: Bill Clinton’s ‘closest political adviser’ voting for Romney

Douglas Band, former President Bill Clinton’s top aide, plans to vote for Mitt Romney in November, according to a report in The New Yorker.

In an extensive article on the complicated and often unpleasant relationship between Bill Clinton and President Obama, the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza reports that Band intends to cast his ballot for the former Massachusetts governor this fall.

“According to two people with direct knowledge, Douglas Band has said that he will vote for Romney,” Lizza writes. “Band declined to comment.”

Lizza explains that Band believes an Obama defeat will bode well for Hillary Clinton’s presidential prospects.

So he feels obama's loss will bode well for Hillary? I wonder if Bill feels the same way? He probably does.

OBAMA IS TOAST! Especially if Bill and Hillary won't even be voting for him....

The thing is, the Clinton Circle influences a lot of voters.  Watch polls in CT, NJ, and NY start to waver. :panic: :runaway:

That is true, Blue. Clinton issue is that he is still pissed at obama for calling him a racist.

Yep but he does not want Democraps to take a blood bath in congressional seats that are up for grabs. So, he wants the O to lose but by a small margin so that there are no coat-tail effects.

It is already a given that even if Romney loses, the Repubs will keep the House, and get back the Senate.

The Dems will find some way to hump, like the dogs in heat that they are.
