I can't believe a teacher friend put this on Facebook

If you're a teacher and you support lower wages, look over your shoulder. There are hoards demanding that teachers receive lower wages. If we all demand that fellow Americans be taken down a notch, we are playing the 1%ers game.

Once again the DUmmies are offended by truth. The left has destroyed people's motivation and drive to better themselves. Instead of teaching people to work their way up they are taught they deserve a CEO position right out of college. If they can't pass the tests we no longer help them to study and learn the material in order to pass the test, we lower the requirements to pass. With all this going on they wonder why society is falling apart and our economy is in the shitter.

Yeah coddling the poor is so much better. :whatever:

2. I know and have known incredibly hard working people who make minimum wage
They might have minimum skills and minimum education, or they might have lost their better job and there might not be anything else available at the moment.
But there is no doubt that minimum wage earners make a real contribution to the workplace. Some of the hardest, most labor-intensive jobs are minimum wage. Some of the ickiest jobs are minimum wage. Some of the jobs that require the most care and compassion and the most reigning in of bad tempers are minimum wage.
Your right to practice your religion ends where my right to not practice it begins.
Odds are a truly good worker in a min wage job will move up before too long. Either they will get promoted where they are or they will find a new better job, it is much easier to get hired when one is already working. If you are a DUmmy you will get a min wage job then argue with the manager every time they tell you to do something, because it is below your dignity. Then you wonder why you don't get promoted.

6. Republican Teachers
Make me want to scream!!
Don't they realize that ALL they have accomplished as a profession is thanks to unions?? If the Repugs had their way teachers would be making $10/hr working for a for-profit company with no benefits or pension. Teachers are the #1 enemy, those "greedy government leeches feeding off the trough of your tax dollars." etc, etc.
I'm a payroll/benefits administrator for a school district and I know there's plenty of Repug teachers and it's simply mind-boggling. I had a teacher approach me to put his young-adult son on his insurance because "now I can with this Obama crap." I held my tongue.
No teachers aren't the enemy it is the unions who are bankrupting the country who are the enemies.

8. I know a woman who took her College Education off of her Resume'
She did it so she could at least get a minimum wage job. Many people now have their Professional Resume' and the Redacted Resume' because lower paying jobs aren't given to people with degrees .
And you will vote for 4 more years of this. :banghead:

These folks would most likely be making a better wage without the "minimum wage requirements".
Think about this, DUmbasses: The Minimum Wage does not necessarily mean "starting point". It can also mean "Cap".
Employer to employee: "I'd gladly pay you more, Miss Jones, because you do a fabulous job, but I am having to pay 16-year-old Tommy-The-Ticket-Taker $8.00 per hour to do a $4.00 per hour job, so there isn't any more money in the company to pay you more, besides, the government say it's all I have to pay you."

If you're a teacher and you support lower wages
Depends--should burger flippers make $40/hour while I make $9/hour? No, because the "training" they receive can be delivered and received between retarded howler monkeys in about 15 minutes. The training I've received and experience I've gained has been over DECADES.
The Census Bureau has a nice little survey of a great many job titles by state, including number employed, average base salary, etc.
In NH, there are SIXTY people who do what I do. That's right, 60. A lot of that is due to the technical nature of what we do and the fact that frankly not a lot of people want to trudge out to the middle of nowhere in shitty conditions, switch out circuits or isolate electrical systems and test them in virtually all environmental conditions. Nationwide, there are a little under 15,000 in my job field. Yet strangely enough, I'll never want for a job for long in such a comparatively small field. Why? Because I'm IN DEMAND. People are willing to PAY for my knowledge and skill sets, more so than your average untrained burger-flipper.
Thus endeth the lesson.

The lesson was good, but the H5 was for the last line.

Apparently they define hard work by how much you can tote around and how hot it is while your doing it. Sorry libs but there are some pretty hard jobs that have nothing to do with moving heavy things from point a to point b. Some jobs are physically hard and some jobs are mentally hard. Some jobs require a good strong back and other jobs require a good strong brain. Each have their own tough demands and both are hard.

14. What most people don't realize
is how essential most low wage jobs are. Those minimum wage jobs keep businesses going, I mean what would they do without, cashiers, warehouse workers, restuarant workers, cleaners, etc.? At a glance these jobs may not seem important but they serve the public in a very important way and without them businesses would fold. In a nutshell businesses could not survive without the "little people" who make it run.
First, most people DO know that, DUmbass.
Secondly, many are young, and just starting.
Most of those will no doubt continue their education and move up the ladder, making room for another to start out.
Some do it just to remain busy, others for spare money.
Then of course there are the ones that just can't or won't do anything else. Where do you fit in, vanker?

Not all teachers are forced to be in a union, DUmbasses.
-
I guess if one is mentally retarded enough one can think that all people should have the same outcome. However, that outcome is always bad for everyone.

I can totally believe a teacher would put that on Facebook. My husband is a teacher, and they are incredibly frustrated by students that won't get up and get to class in time, won't do their homework or will cheat on it, the endless excuses that all add up to "I wanted to party more than work," and the whining about the poor grades they earn. ALL teachers have students that they would LOVE to send this image to. Someone with no motivation, no education and and no skills deserves less pay.
On the other hand, I find it hilarious that the DUmmies think this was aimed at other teachers! :lmao:

A teacher's job is to EDUCATE!
There is a LOT of wisdom in that teacher's post. Too bad it sailed right over (or through) the heads of the DUmmies.

I can see a 'Real' teacher doing that....And I agree with them. Even though it goes completely against the liberal mindset.

Isn't getting backhanded by DAT a bit like having your dad punk you out at the dinner table during Thanksgiving, or is it just me?

I have worked in places where higher paid employees could not get a raise due to the labor budget being raided by a min. wage increase.
All of a sudden we had to pay kids in high school an extra $1.50 an hour.
Those of us that actually earned a raise were short changed. It sucked. I quit and moved on. I could not afford to keep working for that small business and had to take a job with the evil 1%. :lmao:
