Iowans Send Message to Obama
By Devin Dwyer | ABC OTUS News – 14 hrs ago.. .
SIOUX CITY, Iowa - President Obama received a less than warm welcome and a warning upon arrival at the airport here on the second stop of his Iowa visit, which was aimed at recapturing some of the magic the state gave his run to the White House in 2008.
Greeting Air Force One as it touched down under sunny skies and sultry heat was a hand-painted banner draped across the top of an airplane hangar that reads, "Obama Welcome to SUX - We Did Build This." "SUX" is the airport code for Sioux City.
The message appeared to be a response President Obama's "you didn't build that" remark from a July campaign rally, when he was trying to explain that government - not businesses - constructed public infrastructure on which the economy relies. Republicans have used the four words to attack Obama as out of touch with the realities of owning and operating a small business.

You know, it's pathetic that a Democrat has to spend valuable time and money in Iowa, of all places, with its measly six electoral votes.
Iowa was once one of the most commonsensical, reliably Republican, states in the union, but seemed to go moonbat about 1972 (even though Nixon of course carried the state), and has since tended Democrat.
I dunno what happened to Iowa.
And at the same time, Iowa, which had been part of the top three in literacy and education, along with Kansas and Nebraska, of all the states in the union, began slipping. I believe Iowa's top rating any more is either only fourth or fifth in the country, and it's still going down.

Coach--look at how much time he has been spending in New Hampshire, with FOUR EV's.
A state which he won by 10 points in 2008. His internal polling must be godawful if he's here as much as he has been.

Federal farm subsidies.

Federal farm subsidies.
Better defined as....more democrat vote buying via foodstamp program.

How many illegal aliens reside in Iowa ? My guess is on a per capita basis, more than the average.

Scott Co, Iowa Voter Fraud By Illegals (http://wqad.com/2012/08/30/scott-county-voter-fraud-questions-raised/)
DAVENPORT – Scott County has not received the names of the 180 people who allegedly committed voter fraud in the area.
Scott County Auditor Roxanna Moritz says she was hoping to receive the numbers by Tuesday. Moritz was hoping that Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz would release the names of the people he thought were involved. However, she still doesn't believe the number is accurate.
“I can’t think that out of 1,400 people, there are 180 of them in Scott County,†Moritz said. “I just can’t fathom that.â€
Moritz thinks some may have committed voter fraud accidentally. She believes some legal U.S. residents may have actually applied to vote before they were U.S. citizens.
“It’s easy,†Moritz said when asked how hard it is to commit the fraud. “Somebody gives them the voter registration form. They don’t read the last question which says, ‘Are you a citizen?’ They answer, ‘yes,’ and then you sign it.â€
Iowa has a Republican gov. that has been making some changes in the state for the better, he unseated a Dem the last term...there are also 20,000 more registered republicans in Iowa then the last Presidential election.
Times are changing in Iowa. :-) Governor Terry Branstad said the voters of Iowa don't want to see Iowa become like the neighboring state of Illinois (which is the President's home state) when he was interviewed during the RNC.
