rush, of course, is playing with him. :-)
I wonder if this is another comment that got out on someone's video phone, like the "people hiding behind God"
comment. you would think the guy would learn . . . :whatever:
hey, Baroque, does this make Rev. Wrong responsible for all violence against white people? :hyper:
Rush claims feelings hurt over Obama swipe
Obama said at a fundraiser in Miami Beach last night that conservative talk show hosts were in part to blame for hte rise in hate crimes.
"A certain segment has basically been feeding a kind of xenophobia," Obama said. "There's a reason why hate crimes against Hispanic people doubled last year. If you have people like Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh ginning things up, it's not surprising that would happen."
Limbaugh, of course, didn't hate the publicity.
“I actually don’t believe this – Barack Obama, in my own state, raising money for his presidential campaign called be xenophobic at a fundraiser – yeah – 'a certain segment basically been feeding a kind of xenophobia' – 'there’s a reason hate crimes against Hispanic people doubled last year,'" Limbaugh said at the top of his show today. "'If you have people like Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh ginning things up, it’s not surprising.' I thought this guy was the unity candidate? Calling me a Xenophobe? Responsible for hate crimes? My feelings are hurt here.â€

RUSH: My, my, my, how things have changed over the course of a year. Why, a little over a year ago he was able to laugh at it, no big deal, Rush is a good guy, just an entertainer, now I am sponsoring hate crimes and xenophobia. Don't talk about his wife; don't talk about his ears; don't talk about his mother, his father, his grandmother. Don't talk about his voting record; don't talk about his attendance anywhere. Don't call him liberal; don't talk about his preacher; don't talk about the mobsters he ran around with; don't talk about the terrorists he runs around with. Don't talk about anything. Xenophobe and racist. By the way, last night on CNN, Lou Dobbs Tonight, Dobbs interviewed the Senate minority leader in Florida, Steven Geller. Dobbs says, "What do you expect to happen as a result here, if Florida's vote doesn't count? What are you going to do?"

sometimes, I think that Baroque is toast. but other times, I wonder of people are paying attention to
anything other than "oh, let's elect a black guy" out of some twisted sense of guilt.
then, other times, I recall that our nominee is john mccain. :thatsright:
the people that voted for bill clinton over bush41 are capable of anything.

I think it's a bit of all of that, Hillary knows she has been knifed in the back by the far left lunatics who are the big Barack backers, that's why she is duking it out so fiercely and why it won't surprise me in the least if she declares an indpendent ticket in June just after the SD's declare for Obamalama! As for the tolerance for Baracks anti-American, racist background and his involvment with know terrorists who can explain that? Not I said the cat!

she has pretty much backed off the attacks of late. it was obvious that she was trying to strip the bark off of him
bad enough that he lost in november, so she could run again in 2012.
if I was a dem, I would be aghast right now. she should have kicked his ass, but her first campaign manager was a
moron.

I seriously think she realizes that as long as the far left luncatics control the party her chances in 2012 are just as slim as they are today, (it's snowing in hell?)

If Clinton declares a independent ticket, and I give that about a 30% chance, you ain't seen all hell break loose. The democrats will be pouring rubbing alcohol on each other and set themselves on fire. The far left will implode and the sick left (like DU) will have to go offline.

I am also reading that former president billdo wants her to run as veep. the clenis must not be getting the attention that it got when he was prez.

I have her VP chances at about 10%. The Dark Oracle would be a fool to ask her.

I don't see the independent ticket happening, but damn would it be amusing if it did! DU in maximum DEFCON, rats scurrying all over...

I do not want to see her run as an independent because if McCain does not get enough electoral votes it winds up in Congress and a majority of the Congressional critters will choose a Democ.
I think McCain will beat the magic negro handily but the Repubs will get slaughtered in Congressional seats.
-
Things are getting more and more entertaining with this election cycle.
Bob Barr is throwing his hat in the ring for the Libertarian nominee and if Hillary goes in as an independent. A 4 way run for the Presidency would be exciting......

I give a Clinton independent run a 30% chance because she is a desperate woman who does not take defeat in stride. The reality of an independent run ruining Clinton inside the democrat party and her senate seat forever is why a 70% chance she won't go there is more likely.
As for the Republican congressional situation, I do not think it is as dire a situation as the media hopes we assume it is. There will most likely be democrat gains, but a Republican bloodbath is not going to happen this year.

Common sense tells me you are correct in your assessment that oddswise she will not run as an independent. However, she has an ego the size of the Grand Canyon along with this sense of entitlement. Additionally, she has grand visions of her coronation. I believe she wants Obama to go down in flames if she can not be the next Prez.
23 Senate Repubs seats and 12 Democr. seats are up for grabs in Nov. Half of the Repub. seats are in jeporady of going Democ. They are either tied or behind.

You are not alone in wondering these things. What I do to remind myself of who these individuals are is just watch them at his speeches. They're in a hypnotic trance. They're not supporters, they're followers, and B. Hussein Osama is their human secularist messiah.
I find it amusingly ironic that the very liberals who were talking about their political opponents being mesmerized by Bush are, in fact, the ones who are truly guilty of what they claim they saw in others in their following of BHO.

The Kool-Aid drinkers are somehow convinced that Obama will somehow disprove the "Bradley Effect".
However, the more he (and his harpy of a spouse/life parter/shrew) speaks, the more 1--people WILL be turned off by him, 2--people will come to their senses in the voting booth and go, "What the **** was I THINKING?"
-
Obama made a lot of associations in particular circles that worked to win him his House seat, and that position carried him to his Senate seat through the magic of virtually-uncontested elections. The same assocations (including his racist bitch of a wife, or "racialist" if you prefer) will stand against him in the Presidential general election, and seem to be sapping his ability to close the deal even in the Dommunist Party.

There is now no differance between the Ronulans and the Obamites.

Okay, his pastor is sane but he's a nutjob. I don't call that a wash. Either way, you're stuck with a person as useful as a football bat.
