5 deaths from Hurricane Isaac
At least 1,836 people lost their lives in Hurricane Katrina and in the subsequent floods, making it the deadliest US hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane.
It should be noted that officially, 1464 of these deaths took place within New Orleans.

Just saying....
It makes a lot of difference in if you are trying to rescue them or leave them on the rooftops, it would seem. Heck of a job Obama. That's how it's done.

2. ???
???? You mean Obama getting all the praise? Hell no. His policies being different from Bushco. Obama had the guard there prior to the hurricane hitting land. Lots and lots of people to be praised but it was the difference in how a democrat helps people and how a repiglican helps only the rich. (like when they blew the levee to allow the water to flood the poor people still in their homes to save the rich already evacuated ones.)
Bush couldn't be found.
During Bush, there were plenty of citizens trying to rescue. 500 boats I hear. But they wouldn't let them. They left people stranded. It was almost as if they wanted them to die.
1. the Guard belongs to the state governor.
2. the feds cannot act until an emergency is declared...by the governor
3. Bush spent $13bn to set-up the levees that stopped any flooding
4. it was a Cat 1 vs Cat 5
5. Obama was doing LiveChat campaign events while Isaac was making landfall
6. you're actually repeating Calypso Louis' paranoid blown levee story?

4. Not only that but...
... well over 100,000 Black people had to leave
NOLA for good and the Bush admin did nothing
to help them return, even to the point of letting
perfectly good housing go empty or go under
the wrecking ball.
I hear that the gentrification process is going well
there, though.
The NAACP bused them back in to vote for the man who couldn't bus them out before the storm.

5. President Obama is good for America
All of America except the bigots and racist, them not so much. We need to stomp out that part of our population. I don't mean to harm I mean to educate it out of them, the hatred they have in their heart of hearts.

Father-Son Team Rescues 120 from La. Floods
BRAITHWAITE, La. -- Residents of Plaquemines Parish in Louisiana were shocked by Hurricane Isaac Wednesday morning when ocean water burst over the Mississippi River levee, covering their town and leaving thousands trapped in attics and on roofs.
Jesse Shaffer, 25, and his father, also named Jesse Shaffer, 53, both of Braithwaite, La., stayed behind in their town to rescue their friends.
While police and the fire department were unable to reach some stranded people using their vehicles, the Shaffers were able to save lives using boats.
...
Each Shaffer controlled a boat, in which the pair saved a combined 120 people in 12 hours, as well as animals.

Obama campaigns while people drown in Louisiana

Mrs. Smith, when I'm done typing this, I'm going to H5 you for that. And, I'd like to add this: Obama had to cancel scheduled campaign appearances on the Monday before his immaculation (Labor Day) because soon-to-be-President Romney flew to New Orleans to survey the damage done by Isaac. Romney shamed Obama. Why didn't Obama get off the golf course (or wherever he was) and go there during the RNC? He would have legitimately stole some of the news from the Republicans--who would make an argument against the President going to a hurricane-ravaged area, no matter when it happened?--and maybe let some of the remaining uncommitted voters know, "the President cares."

I woke up this morning alive. No one broke into my house and murdered me and my wife while we slept. Praise 0bama for watching over us. :whatever:

Hmmm aside from the difference in severity of the storm I'm sure having btdt in a little over 5 years, having updated and reinforced levies, less government dependent idiots who do nothing for themselves even in life threatening circumstances, and a newer found healthy respect for nature has nothing at all to do with it either. These people are truly useless and senseless(dummies). What a bunch of hopeless sychofants with zero sense of reality.

I wonder if we are going to see all of Hollywood have a fundraiser, with all the liberals douchebags, to help the victims this time (maybe Kanye will say that obama hates white people)? Oh wait, they only do that when a Republican is in office. Barry, Barry quite contrary is the man - to them.
-
Have you noticed that the MSM can't hardly find a black person crying and screaming, "Somebodies has got to hope us!" It's a wonder they haven't hired a few.

They only do that when there is a white President. That way they can stress how racist they are. Then, in the same turn, if they found a white man crying and screaming about obama's handling of the storm, they would immediately be called a racist. You see the pattern? Only the white man can be a racist. There is no way that a black man can be - *cough* Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson *cough*

That's the spirit.

Good thing that democrat governor Bobby Jindal had the foresight to set all the emergency plans in place before the storm.
Oh wait...he is a Republican. :thatsright:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Jindal
Jindal oversaw one of the largest evacuations in U.S. history (nearly two million people) in late August 2008 prior to the Louisiana landfall of Hurricane Gustav.[49] He issued mandatory evacuation orders for the state's coastal areas and activated 3,000 National Guardsman to aid in the exodus. He also ordered the state to purchase generators to provide needed power to hospitals and nursing homes without power. Government officials vacated hospitals and nursing homes and put the poor, the ill, and the elderly on buses and trains out of town. The evacuation was credited as one reason that Gustav only resulted in 16 deaths in the U.S. The state's successful response to Hurricane Gustav was in stark contrast to the failed hurricane response system for Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Jindal received bipartisan praise for his leadership during Gustav.[50][51] Jindal had been scheduled to address the Republican National Convention, but cancelled his plans to focus on Louisiana's needs during the storm

1.3 miillion in San Diego proper. At least half owe their liives to nutcase nadin.
And what about DUmmy malaise? She's saved half the southeastern USA from becoming a soggy wasteland of corpses.

Isaac was initially steering towards Tampa. Somehow unexplainably it veered to N.O. Bush was accused of sending Katrina to N.O. Who sent Isaac there ?

People who love America don't usually pray for that sort of thing.
