What percentage of our counterparts will watch the Democratic Party convention?

I mean all right-wing site users, not just the Freepers. I'd be willing to bet we crush them on that one. They can't stand it. Even if we're only watching to find things to trash, at least we watch.

I get crap for watching MSNBC but at least conservatives get a fair shot on there if they are willing to go on. I also watch Washington Journal in the morning and Scabwhoreoh sometimes. At least I watch stuff that allows both sides sometimes. I know the people that takes shots about MSNBC only watch FOX or listen to their favorite hate radio perverts. The right-wing talking points they spew are a dead giveaway.

Like when FOX "News" skips Obama's speech's. Something they would never do to Bush. The networks and cable Chanel's they consider liberal always showed Bush.

:lmao: Get the hell out of here. YOU watch whatever of the RNC you can stomach so you can (admittedly) take pot shots. WE watch the DNC so that we can gather ammo, AND learn about our adversaries. No, you won't have more of a percentage on that one. Let alone "crush us." I've seen numerous posts/threads about specifically NOT tuning in to the RNC, you dolt.

The bolded is just plain funny. I can't say much more except for that if you believe that, I've got some ocean front property in Nebraska I'd like to sell you.

I also defy you to show video where FNC skipped one of Owebama's speeches. Burden of proof is on you, bitch.

Are any dems even showing up for the DNC?

Seems like about half of the Dems have bailed on going to the DNC so why bother watching except to get the laughs you know will be coming from Nobama and his stooges. Their won't be one shred of truth spoken about how they plan to fix the economy plus you know damn well they won't talk about any of their failures which will be most of the past three years. They will blame Bush and anyone else for being in the way of their plans to give ponies and skittles to all if they would just bow down and kiss their asses for it.

I had to go to Wikipedia to find a list of speakers.  A simple Google search turned up nothing but garbage.

Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren will speak on economic policy, followed by former president Bill Clinton, who will formally nominate Barack Obama.[18]
First Lady Michelle Obama will also address the convention, followed by keynote speaker Julian Castro, mayor of San Antonio.[19]
Former President Jimmy Carter will address the gathering by video because he will not attend.[20]
Former Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida, an ex-Republican who endorsed President Obama's re-election bid, has been given a speaking spot.[21]

Other scheduled speakers include:
Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin
Newark Mayor Cory Booker
San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, who will be the first Latino keynote speaker at a Democratic National Convention
Former Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Tammy Duckworth
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel
Georgetown Law School Graduate Sandra Fluke
Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx
Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm
California Attorney General Kamala Harris
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper
Montana State Superintendent of Public Instruction Denise Juneau
Former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine
President of NARAL Pro-Choice America Nancy Keenan
Author and daughter of former President Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy
Lieutenant General Claudia Kennedy (ret.)
U.S. Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts
Women’s rights activist Lilly Ledbetter
Congresswoman Barbara Lee of California
CarMax co-founder and former CEO Austin Ligon
Obama Campaign Co-Chair Eva Longoria
Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter
U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski of Maryland, together with the women of the U.S. Senate
Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley
Houston Mayor Annise Parker
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick
President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund Cecile Richards
Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak
Journalist Cristina Saralegui
Costco co-founder and former CEO Jim Sinegal
Former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland
Los Angeles Mayor, Democratic Convention Chair Antonio Villaraigosa

This should be a ****ing hoot.

I'll watch less of it than I did the Dem 2008 convention because I already know what Dear Leader is going to say.  In 2008, whoever won would be a new president, so it was worth tuning in to hear both sides.  This year, only one candidate has the chance to be a new president.

So tell me stupid brewens primitives, why should I pay close attention to a candidate I've already heard for the past 4+ years?  He's not going to say anything new.  I could give his speech.

Here's the gist of every speech at the DNC:

Romney and Ryan
-want to kill grandma
-will make you poorer by giving the rich more money
-are adamant about keeping women down by telling them what to do with their bodies
-are out of touch with America
-lying about Dear Leader's record
-are Satan and his chief minion

OBAMA IS THE KING OF THE WORLD!!

There were 30,000+ plus people at the RNC Convention tonight. I am betting there won't be half that at the DNC Convention. OF course we all know that MSNBC will show it all commercial free and without interruption. Especially during the muslim prayer and flag burning.

I'm only going to watch Cory Booker because he is the only one on the list worth listening to.

I thought people were joking when they said Sandra Fluke would have a speaking slot.

I thought, "Right, you said "slot"."

So are they really going to release hundreds of inflated rubbers from the rafters when she finishes?

She needed $3,000.00 of birth control to get through Law school. Can law school be completed in less than a year ?

I read through the list that Chris posted.  What torture.  I may or may not flip through from time to time.  There's only so much of shrieking harpies I can take.

Charley Crist:  Ya know who he reminds me of?  This guy, from "This Island Earth" (MST3K)

Biden, too.

I usually do not watch the communist convention but this one is going to be so wildly over the top on the HATE, I will. I just hope that all the cameras have spit guards on them.

It's hard to imagine how they could work up a more frenzied level of hatred than they showed us in 2004, but I'm sure they will try.

I like to watch a little bit of the DUmpmonkey convention just to marvel at the contrast between the groups.

At the puke convention nearly everyone is well-dressed. Most of the men are wearing coat and tie.

In our society those traditions of dress are how a person demonstrates respect for whatever it is he's doing.

The dem convention looks more like a circus sideshow, with freaks of every stripe, dressed like they're auditioning for "People of Wal-Mart".

Democrats have no respect for anything. That's why most of them are such dismal losers in life.

The only shocker I see is they are letting John F'n Kerry anywhere near the DNC after his miserable run for office.

I found this on the DNC Website:

Quote
The first two days of the 2012 Democratic National Convention, Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5, will be held at Time Warner Cable Arena. President Obama and Vice President Biden will accept the Democratic nominations for President and Vice President on Thursday, September 6 at Bank of America Stadium. Sign up now for your chance to attend this event. The convention committee will unveil additional convention program details and speakers in the coming days.

They're setting their sights pretty high. BofA Stadium is where Panthers (of the NFL) play.

They REALLY think they can come close to filling 74,000 seats for Zero's acceptance speech.

edited for spelling

The DNC convention should be entertaining -

by making the mistake of presenting after Romney, the DNC now has to respond, and " Y'all a bunch-a racists ! " doesn't answer the questions on the economy raised by Romney & Co.

Of course, they won't address any of it. Which will make the Democrats seem mighty small-minded & petty.

And I will be there to watch them in their quest to avoid the truth at all costs.

a ) Racists !
b ) Women haters !
c ) Bush's third term !
d ) End of Roe V Wade !
e ) Eat The Rich !
f ) Illegal and Immoral Wars !

--all of this, even though the vast majority of the DNC are a bunch of rich, white, cracka-ass honkeys.

They are using different venues to make it look like the place is packed. There will no one there on Thursday to see Captain Zero's acceptance speech.
