In response to Republican ex-Gov George Pataki railing against the president and askin "What has Obama done?"
Matthews shot back, "Come on, if your guy had doubled the stock market from 6500 to 13,000, you'd be dancing on the roof! If your guy had killed Bin Laden you'd be giving him the Congressional Medal of Honor!"

Great line by Chris -- gotta hand it to the guy.
The Repug that he shut down was former New York Governor George Pataki. Pataki was handing him the usual repug lines about Obama's "failed leadership," high unemployment", blah, blah, blah,.... when Chris shut him up with that brilliant line.
Couldn't happen to a better guy.

OR, we could start that comparison with where the market was when it was clear he had won the ELECTION, not when he was INAUGURATED, and that would tell a whole different story, Tingle-Boi.
9625 close on November 4, THEN a long slide down to the March 2009 bottom.
Obama's election took it down 3,000+ points. Cyclical recovery and the House changing hands in 2010 were responsible for bringing it back from that, not anything the Miracle Baby did.

Since poor learning-disabled DUmmy atman Rob McGrath was shitcanned by the political junk mail company, the fact that he's unemployable has started to hit home.
(When you think about it, it's remarkable that anyone could get fired from a political junk mail firm on the eve of a huge national election. There had to have been more going on than just Rob's absence of artistic abiliity and intelligence. After all, he only drew speech bubbles.)
His posts for months have been pretty much confined to comments about what he's seen on PMSNBC.

While growing up in that Levittown down in Florida, Pedro Picasso kept his eyeballs glued to the screen.
I mean, come on, this guy's idol is Barbara Eden, or whatever her name is, from a popular half-hour comedy show on television in the 1960s. He almost wet his pants when he met her in person.
He's rarely, if ever, commented upon written matter, which leads me to believe he's barely literate; things have to have pictures with them for him to understand them.
It's been a sad, sad life, for somebody coming in the front gate and slowly walking up to the threshhold of the front door to old age.
