Mind you, this is all in response to Rmoney bitching about welfare. Everytime he mentions welfare and foodstamps he's called a racist. Then we hear about how there are fewer blacks on welfare than whites which just proves the racist dogwhistles (that only liberals can hear) are just baseless hatred on the part of those who respond to the sub-audible tones (that only liberals can hear).

The demographics of Temporary Aid to Needy Families.
According to the Department of Human Services, in 2010:
31.8% are white
31.9% are African-American
30% are Hispanic.
That's pretty even numbers.
Now America is truly a just and compassionate society!
Why make a point of this? Because denial or rewriting the facts are not the basis for a good argument. There are reasons for the demographic breakdown. Most of us know them: A history of oppression and discrimination that continues to this day, less than equal educational opportunities. Few job opportunities, and so on.

As if this cracker bitch living in Vermont knows anything of racism apart from cheap stereotypes she reads on DU.
And what--cracker bitch--would be said of the person who said, "I wish to **** they would get a job!"
Leftism vacillates between calling people oppressive to excuse those trapped on welfare then is calls people racist when there is an expectation to cease needing welfare.
The one thing leftists will never scream is for those on welfare to be self-reliant. Nothing could terrify a leftist more than the thought that a minority or anyone else would ever come to a place of self-sufficiency. To be self-sufficient means to be independent and to be independent means to need no one...not even the leftists.
If leftists weren't needed the entire source of their political power evaporates. So they keep you needy. You MUST go on welfare because society is too oppressive and discriminatory. You cannot get off welfare because those who say you must are racists.
Leftism only says it operates on love; but it only seeks its own power.

Without going there to see her post or read the article, if that is the percentages paid out then that is quite interesting given the fact that African-Americans are merely 13.1 percent of the population and hispanics are 16.7 percent. So to me it is clear that a disproportional amount of the temporary aid to needy families goes to those two groups.
Blacks= 31.9% of 13.1% of X amount of families out of 114,236,000 - potential households is 14,964,916
Hispanics = 30.0% of 16.7% of X amount of families out of 114,236,000 - potential households is 19,077,412
White = 31.8% of 63.4% of X amount of families out of 114,236,000 - potential households is is 72,425,624
X being families out of potential households receiving this assistance.
If I pull a number out of my butt on a guess and let's say 3 million families received the assistance
Then the reality is this:
957,000 were Black or 6.4% of all Black households
900,000 were Hispanic 4.7% of all Hispanic households
954,000 were White or 1.3% of all White households

Black People are 13.1% = ~40.8M or 10.2M families
Hispanic People are 16.7% = ~52M or 13M families
Average of monthly recipents of TANF for 2011 is ~4.4M families
31.8% of 4.4M = ~1.39M White families on TANF (2.2% of total white population)
31.9% of 4.4M = ~1.4M Black families on TANF (13.7% of total black population)
30% of 4.4M = ~1.32M Hispanic families on TANF (10.2% of total hispanic population)

My household numbers came directly from 2011 quick census figures from the government. Didn't have info on those receiving assistance. I threw the three million out as a method for percentage differential.
