Household income fell more in recovery than during recession
Annual median household income is struggling to recover after the most recent recession. Slthough it has gone up from its low in August 2011, it is still 7.2 percent below the December 2007 level.
Isn't this one of the things that the new (in Jan 2009) occupant of the WH was supposed to "change"?
The responses center around phrases along the line of "that's spin", "look at this chart over here", and so forth.
They just refuse to accept the reality of the "fail", a word they like to attach to 'all things Conservative', but not about themselves.

1. Isn't that to be expected?
It's not as if everyone was hit all at once when the U.S. plunged into recession. It ripples outward and that's what we saw over the first few years of the recovery - both within median income & unemployment.
So THAT'S why they despise Reaganomics so vehemently. Reagan said "trickle down" when it's really "ripple outward."
Stupid Reagan!

Looks like l0rd 0bama ain't the guy to make collectivism work either.
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
Winston Churchill
0bama is 100% complete proof of that great man's thinking.

What would Winston think of England today....and I wonder if his American half would have any words of advice for us.

If brains were gold, and cotton sold for a penny a pound, the DUmmies, collectively, couldn't buy enough to make leggins for a canary..........!

Real wages have taken a beating under owebuma. It's probably somehow Bush's fault though.

Of course it is.

I'd imagine this would be a result of underemployment due to people taking jobs which are less well paid than what they're qualified to do?

What do you suppose caused that?

It is sad when their best rebuttals can be boiled down to one word: Squirrel!!!
