Title: A new caveman plebe

Married in my 50's and in Washington State.

I may be new here but actually a veteran in forums and even own and run a climate skeptic forum.

I saw a name here of someone who might know who i am if he is the Ptarmigan of two other forums forum I know.Maybe he will will think I am just a caveman plebe and wait and see if I actually grow up a little. :whatever:

I am an Independent voter who hate Liberalism/Leftism thus vote conservative most of the time and sometimes a decent Libertarian choice in the local offices in state or local levels.Some of my opinions will excite people here because I am not a full conservative in everything that some of you probably are.

I will say things here from time to that will get people unhappy because I am not going to be part of a crowd just for heck of being in a crowd.I am a free thinker who is definitely independent and has been for a few years now.I left the Democrat party about 20-25 years ago and that was because I grew up and realized they are full of socialist gibberish.Never really "joined" the republican party because there is an element in it that I never can fully support.

I am one of those people who are more interested in the Discussion style of conversation than the confrontation Debate style that usually dies fast and people get in trouble with Moderators.I am a moderator a large blog and was an administrator of a conservative forum that never came back to life as the owner is dithering about it.I am also an administrator of a facebook group.Had a political forum that never took off with membership and shut down a few months ago despite good posting runs of the small number who were there.

I have used SMF 1.0 series before and gave it up to myBB for my climate forum.I used SMF 2.0 for an e-mail discussion forum and liked it much better and that is why I wonder why you guys have not upgraded to the 2.0 series yet?

I am starting to babble and will stop before someone here begins to doze off zzz.....

It's kind of puzzling that you would put your intro post here when there is a dedicated board for that. :???:

Ah, the normal side of the Cascade Curtain. Lived in Bellingham and Seattle for a while. Loved the places, hated the people.

Yeah I know what you mean.The west side especially King county is the utopian paradise for the liberals.

Eastern Washington is just about 100% Republican now and that is amazing considering that in the 1970's it was nearly the other way around when we had Thomas Foley,Scoop Jackson,Mike McCormick and Warren Magnusen all democrats with all the main power spots in the state.

But King and Pierce county is the liberal cesspool zone and just barely enough to offset the rest of the state.

We're not staunch like that. You may have small skirmishes, but you won't be banned, repremanded for them as long as you keep it civil, and in bounds.

Why do I say this?

Go here and figure it out and ask yourself is this how newbies should be treated who are not allowed to use the ignore feature and get no support against misbehaving members.

There is no reason for me to continue putting up with this stuff anymore thus getting away from here.

Then, you go on that thread that sunset linked to, and I thought he was treated pretty shabbily. Should Kyle Ricky be saying things like "bring on the ban hammer" to someone who goes way back with many cavers? For years? He was vouched for by respected people here.

I wish sunset would reconsider.

BTW, KR has built up a conserable post count by posting inanities such as :-) and "Yeah" and so forth. I wish he would stop acting like he owns the place. Take this to the Fight Club if you wish.
