It is NOT "pro-life". It is ANTI-CHOICE.
We need to get away from the term "pro-life". You can be "pro-life" and still support a woman's right to choose.
If we accept the term "pro-life", then the opposite would be either "anti-life" or "pro-death". We know that is absurd. Well when you have an abortion there is a death involved, so being pro death isn't all that absurd
But using the term "pro-choice", then the opposite describes EXACTLY what they are: "anti-choice".
Besides, there are quite a few "pro-life" types who are ardent supporters of the death penalty - not very "pro-life" is it?
Also - they oppose anything and everything that would help improve the quality of life for those in need. Not very "pro-life" is it? Maybe "pro-miserable life".
Any way you slice it - the term "pro-life" is a term that does not deserve to be used in rational conversation. Let the freepers and extremists revel in their terminology all they want - but we don't have to give credibility to them by using their deliberately misleading propagandist terminology.
It's not pro choice either, it's pro abortion. If you were really pro choice you would be supportive of those who choose not to kill their unborn.

2. And "pro-lifers" are the first to sit quietly by...
...and permit the MIC to lie us into war, killing 100,000s.
All for the benefit of big oil, big banks, and big defense contractors. And any 1%er wanting to fatten their portfolio.
You have been very quiet about the "illegal wars" since Jan of 2009, wonder why that is.

Typical. Change the name, hope it flies.

Let the child choose.

Hey DUmmies...I am ALL FOR you ending your genetic line...the world will a better place without it.
I am, however, VERY OPPOSED to paying for you to do it.

Charging them for the bullet is more in line whith what I'm thinking . . . :-)

Didn't the super business genius Chu say that eliminating the incandescent light bulb was not a banning but rather a limiting of choices to what he thinks is good for us. Same could be said for this. We are just limiting the choices you have for for the good of your baby.

It's actually pro-abortion, you're either against it or for it, no in between.

I am not anti-choice. Women have a choice to keep their legs closed, make the guy wear a rubber, or use contraception. Her choices should end when it comes to killing another human being.
You idiots always try and bring the death penalty into the abortion debate. It fails because you are comparing someone that has committed heinous crimes against other people to an innocent unborn child.
That is like comparing Obama to Ronald Reagan.

Based on information from the Guttmacher Institute (http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/fb_induced_abortion.html/), roughly 1% of abortions are carried out because of rape.
If you're pro-choice, what are you choosing?

I agree, we shouldn't call it pro-life. We should call it what it really is:
ANTI-MURDER
I am against the murder of children at birth, at the toddler stage, at the teen stage, and at every stage BEFORE, after and in-between. I am against the murder of innocent adults, I am against "collateral damage" in wars, I am against the murder of the elderly, infirm, and less than perfect.
The only time humans have the right to end any human life is when it is necessary in war to contain those that have no respect for human life, and to stop those that commit murder.
To a DUmmy, someone that has removed 5 or 10 or 100 humans from this world still has more right to live than an innocent infant who hasn't lived long enough to commit any type of sin. The world needs all kinds, I guess, but it's still amazing that people can be that stupid and still remember to breath.

If you don't want kids, maybe you should exercise some choice ahead of time and keep your pants on.
I guess that is too much to ask.

Adoption is just too much to ask, too. :banghead:

The daughter of one of my friends (from high school) got pregnant at 18. She said if she decided she didn't want to keep it she hoped that she would abort because she couldn't stand the thought of her grandchild being out in the world and not knowing where or how the child was. I said, at least you would know it was ALIVE. :whatever:

If you really want to see just how "pro-choice" they are, put a Choose Life license plates on your car and see their reactions.
Protip: It might be a good idea to put one on a car that you really don't care about too much.

In some states if a pregnant women loses the baby during the commission of a crime, that person can also be charged with fetal homicide. Yet same women can go get an abortion and all is good. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Rush says that it sounds like the DNC convention is going to be All Abortion, All the Time. The party of death and taxes.

The Bible speaks of those in Hell being able to see those in Heaven and recognize them. I can only imagine how the DUmmies will feel when they look up to see their children running around with Jesus...

It's part of their Eternal Torment.

As I have said before, I am pro-choice. I just believe that the choice needs to be made a lot farther upstream.
