PPP has Brown +5 in Mass Senate race over Warren

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/21/ma-2012-senate-49-brown-r_n_1819391.html

This is a tough race Elizabeth Warren needs to win.

1. Horrible candidate. It's been obvious she would lose for months.

Almost any professional politician could have won that seat back.

2. No, she's nothing but wonderful.

Maybe Massachusetts has lost its collective mind.

3. She may be the most wonderful person on Earth, but that doesn't make her a good candidate.

I like her fine... but that doesn't mean she'll win.

She stuck her foot in her mouth when she let all the people know just how she got into college on a bogus minority claim. Sorry but if she was willing to lie then what is she going to do next?

Oh my.

Hmm strange that Warren is down by 5, maybe she is not getting her message out about the middle class being "hammered".  I think she needs to repeat it a few thousand more times.

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to verify this, but I caught a tidbit just as I was getting to work on a left-leaning Boston talk show (Jim & Margery) and the teaser was that someone may have labeled Warren as a 'Stealth Republican'. I didn't hear anymore because I had to begin work, but if this is true, it may indicate that she has been set adrift by the DNC.

When Democrats call one of their own a Republican, it always has the same result. The end of funding, and usually the end of a campaign.

Too bad, Fauxcahontas.

No, what amazes me, DUmmies, is that Fauxcahontas is even within 20 points of Scott Brown.  Any state besides MA, and they'd have stuck a fork in her bony ass already.

I wouldn't go that far, but she is better than Ted "Roasting in Hell" Kennedy.

.....and hasn't stopped chewing vigorously.  In a sane world, she wouldn't even be a false echo on the radar.

Guess I should have read this first, Sparky.  Agreed.  :cheersmate:

She was a Republican until she was 46 years old.

I don't think it was getting into college, but getting into the elitist professor employment crowd that doomed her.

What Warren did by lying to get her special status job is **** a real Native American out of that job.

Why does Warren hate minorities and have a war against Native Americans?

Yeah, Ward Churchill should have had that job.

It's a PPP poll in Massachusetts.  In reality she is probably 30 points down.

Oh, is that right?

BTW, there's a new NBC news poll out today with a headline "Obama up by 4."  I waded through to the end and found that it's a D+6  sample, or "previous Obama voter" +9.  1,000 registered voters, with some respondents reporting they were "unsure" if they voted last time or not.

Another "new" thing pollsters are doing is oversampling women to squeeze out a point or so for Obama. Women make up just under 51% of the population (50.8%) but for 'whatever reason' (chortle) they end up sampled at a rate of give-or-take 54 percent to 46 percent men.

..I'm sure that has nothing to do with the +- 60/40 Obama favorability rating..... Just a harmless coincidence is all..   :whatever:

12. Because despite all the stereotypes,

Massachusetts is not as solid blue as everyone assumes.

Sixteen years of back-to-back Republican governors, including Mitt Romney, until Deval Patrick won.

Plus, the Democratic machine in MA is not, shall we say, the cleanest and smartest operation. No shit, Sherlock.
Fact.

This morning she was savaged by Howie Carr on my local FM morning show. :whistling:

He also made a point about coattails and straight tickets. ( For a Howie interview it left me a little flat, like maybe he hadn't had his second cup of coffee? )

The Bostonian Drunkard seems to be hinting he wished the machine would be cleaner and smarter.

Hmmmm.

Which shows the Bostonian Drunkard, and those who think like him, are not true democrats (small "d").

A "machine" is the antithesis of democracy, and good democrats (small "d") everywhere would applaud the breaking-up, the shattering apart, the grounding into sand, of political machines.

The Bostonian Drunkard may be a Drunk (capital "D"), but he's no democrat.
