Fmr. Democratic Rep Artur Davis, who is speaking at the Republican National Convention, said on Cavuto today that Mitt Romney is the most experienced candidate to run for President since Eisenhower in 1952. That is a strong statement to make. I would have to do some research, but I would think that he is probably correct?

I know that is certainly true compared to any and every democrat who has even thought about running.

Tricky Dick had been around the block several times, including a failed bid for the presidency in 1960.

AFAIK, Romney never commanded millions of troops in combat. And he damn sure never had to deal with Field Marshal Montgomery.
