I always wondered if there was a strong correlation between the record of the pre season, and the regular season.

I think I've read studies where the exhibition results are largely irrelevant to correlate with the regular season.  Same with baseball.

Yeah, pre-season has no effect on what they regular season will be like.

I hope not. My team's not looking to good in pre season. Of ourse, I'd rather get all the injuries healed now, rather than later in the season.

The reason pre-season has no bearing on regular season is because with pre-season the teams play all their second third stringers while they find who to keep and who to cut before the deadline.
