Today i told my rw bf to f*** off
I can't stand his idiocy anymore. I can't stand his lies and selfishness any longer. Last night I had a bad night, and my idiot half blew me off because he had to listen to Coast to Coast am. He's a truck driver, and when I come home I have no one to hug me or hold me and make me feel better. He couldn't even stay on the phone w me on my drive home. I got and get more support from you guys then I get from him. Why I'm posting this is not just to vent. It's to remind everyone to STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF, DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE WHOI YOU ARE, AND CALL OUT HYPOCRISY WHEN YOU SEE IT. I couldn't even put my Obama sticker on my car because of him,.but guess what, from now on it will be covered in them! RWs are all the same, selfish, f up liars! May they rot in hell, if whatever shithole rotten souls like theirs will go to!

I will attempt to answer this from a couple of different perspectives.
1. Not all liberal chicks spout politics all day long, let alone at all. Some are just slightly mush-headed, and to the degree that their politics don't come out in Tourette's form, their mush-headedness can be a nice thing, because reasonable liberals are generally very nice people.
2. MANY liberal chicks actually have some conservative beliefs, or at least middle of the road beliefs, and this fact permits some degree of relationship traction; something for a conservative man to grab onto. Like a nice set of hips, you might say.
3. Some men are like women in that they believe they can change a woman, or at least they get some excitement out of the stark differences (in other contexts this is called Jungle Fever). This belief, when combined with even the slightest bit of encouragement from the woman (and also those wide hips), can create, as Dan Perkins once wrote, a hard-on a cat couldn't scratch.
4. Some liberal chicks seek out a conservative man in the way that children seek out parenting behavior or dogs seek out a master. They may be big and bad and hairy and stinky on internet message boards, but behind closed doors they turn into sweet, compliant *****cats with trimmed pubes who are desperate to be please. Also ideally accompanied by wide hips.
5. In some measure, it's all pink on the inside.

I am one of those guys who married a woman much more liberal than I am. First met her in college and while she was very liberal, she wasn't a psycho trying to push her beliefs every chance she got. It was really a topic that we knew to stay away from other than a few jokes on how I'd vote just to cancel her vote out. It has been funny over the years, now that she has been out of college and a part of the real world, how much more conservative she's gotten, to the point that she is more conservative than me in certain areas. They can be brought over to our side, they just need to get a taste of how the world really works.

She doesn't talk about politics that much, but when she says how she just loves obama, and thinks that he is the smartest and greatest thing since sliced bread. Of course I shut her up, when she is spouting abut his greatness, by asking her to prove that he went to college and show me his transcripts. She hates when I do that.
She has it difficult because she is one of four people in my family who are liberal. The rest of the clan are all conservative. I think her knowing that she is out numbered is the reason she doesn't talk about it that much.

Well she who is the omnipotent one around here is kinda of a liberal. We don't talk about politics and never have for the whole 6 years I've dated her. We talk about when her car needs the oil changed, we talk about how her job is going, we talk about what is for dinner, we talk about the doggies... hers and mine... we talk about the weather, we talk about lots of things that she wants to talk about. She never talks politics except for every now and again she might zing me with her tree hugger BS. I roll my eyes and then we talk about something else.
When the family is in and she is around we don't talk politics at all. Never have.
We also do not talk about if that dress or jeans she just bought makes her butt look fat. Ma Perky did not raise a dumbass. :-)

I've never heard of Coast to Coast.
I became aware of CtoC by accident many years ago when I found the program by accident on way to work.
Mind bogling call in show with guests that claimed to be everything from Priests involved with exercising demons to retired 4 star Generals. The general public was invited to call in also and the program was hilarious.
The very first show I heard got me hooked, topic of the day/night was a question to the public, "Anyone ever have sex with an alien ? " OMG-----talking on the cell phone while driving is no wheres as dangerous as driving with tears in the eyes from laughter.
However it was Art Bell that did get some information that was spot on. The Military Far Seeing Project that was shut down sometime I believe in the 1980's. I believe it was People magazine that did an article on the defunct project, and here all these months listening to CtoC I thought this was way too strange to be anything but scripted---My Government would never be as stupid as to spend tax payee money for years on anything this crazy. WOOPS------

Hey my ex went for one. I think a lot of it has to do more with other personality issues. Not all conservative men are desirable from a psychological perspective. My ex is one of those and he's now with a kooky, pushy, pita liberal female who is his own age. I'm conservative and 10 years younger. They also have shared history; they went to school together. I'm from another state entirely.
Why he chose her since she's nuts; I don't know. I have my ideas, but I'm not going to rip him more then I already have. The heart and the damaged parts of the psyche don't always pick the wisest route. That's pretty much all I can say from what I've seen.
