The Family Research Council shooter had 15 Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches

I hope this will be serve as a reminder that the "stochastic terrorism" theme has its limits.

FBI: Family Research Council Suspect Said, ‘I Don’t Like Your Politics’ Before Shooting

The parents of the man who allegedly shot a security guard at the Family Research Council headquarters told the FBI that their son “has strong opinions with respect to those he believes do not treat homosexuals in a fair manner.”

Floyd Lee Corkins II, 28, allegedly said something to the effect of “I don’t like your politics” when confronted by an FRC security guard Thursday morning, according to an affidavit filed by FBI Special Agent Garrett Nabors.

Corkins allegedly took a firearm out of his backpack and shot at security guard Leo Johnson, striking him in the arm. Even after being shot, Johnson managed to wrestle the gun away from Corkins and subdue him.

Authorities searched Corkins’s backpack and found 15 sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A, a box of 50 rounds of ammunition and two additional magazines.

Well, I guess that settles it.

Eating at Chick-Fil-A causes people to become terrorists.

The Chik- Fil- A bag and sandwiches were part of his attempt to blend in before he started shooting by posing as one of their interns.

17. I'm not sure this person could be convicted on hate crime laws

View profile
FRC is an advocacy and lobbying group and not so much a religious group. Furthermore the attacker was not attacking them for their religious beliefs, but rather for their political beliefs. If this person is charged under hate crime laws I think it would be a miscarriage of the law to use it for the protection of a hate group. It would be like charging someone with a hate crime law who shot up a KKK meeting around a burning cross.

Glad you feel that way. If those deserving bastards at ACLU. NAACP and SPLC get shot, then it wouldn't be considered a hate crime.

Are you OK with that?

Yep. I had CFA for dinner last night and tonight I'm planning on setting off a bunch of explosives around 9:30.

Did any of them stop to think that the shooter bought into the whole Chick-fil-A-holes thing you were on last week, and that maybe he felt having a bunch of sammiches would get him conservative street cred ?

Proving once again, primitives have no idea how conservatives operate.

I thought he was going to leave them as a sort of calling card if he were successful.

Oh ! That's good too !

I was thinking he would get a bunch of victims into a conference room with the Sammiches as "bait", and then unload a clip or two.

:lmao:I just thought of Joker saying "Here's my card," and leaving a Chick-Fil-A sammich on a desk instead of a joker card.
