This Assange business definitely uncovers certain peoples' priorities
Tweaking the US MIC not only makes him a "hero," but it also either absolves him of rape, entitles him to rape, or renders allegations of rape utterly meritless, and, in the process, entitles anyone skeptical of such allegations to any and all evidence of rape before admitting the mere possibility of rape.
Wow.
Then this guy starts in:

Since I cannot bear any more of your pompous "sirs," I'll leave you to polish the silver.

4. US nationals taking refuge in the Embassy
is OK.
An Archbishop taking refuge in an Embassy is OK.
Assange taking refuge in an Embassy is not OK?

5. He can hide under a pile of my dirty drawers if he wants.
Doesn't alter my thesis, which is that so long as you tweak the US MIC, some people will
dismiss the possibility that you might just be a filthy ****ing rapist.

He might have sanctuary in that Embassy but once he steps out of the confines of their property they will have his ass in cuffs . I hope he loves the decor there because it might just be his new home .

Wow.
Wha...?

We all know that a democrat's perception of another's guilt or innocence is moderated by the political views and actions of the accused.
This is part of that 'nuance' thing that the left loves so much. Nuance gives them the ability to rationalize and equate events whenever necessary to enhance or diminish the actions or intent of others.

He's mocking their lack of principles.

Quite. The Embassy may be Equadorian territory, but there's a whole lot of British territory between it and the rest of the country.
I'm enjoying the DUmmy threads which think that our courts are kow-towing to the U.S. by up-holding an extradition to one of our European 'allies'.

I heard on NPR that he's living out of an office there with a bed and internet connection.
Must be awfully damn miserable.

Almost like he's already in prison...

Maybe -- if he shares some home-made toilet wine with his cell mate before he puts on the dress at bedtime then okay. Otherwise, its just a prolonged stay at the local Holiday Inn.

Even in the best of conditions it can get to a persons nerves. Cabin fever an all that. He'll screw up and want to leave on his own soon enough. Although I wouldn't
put it past the Ecuadorians to sneak him out to a park or some other place for some "fresh air" .

I don't know what that embassy is like, but if its like most, there is probably an enclosed garden he can wander through in relative safety.
As for 'Cabin Fever' - I'm certain he is being well entertained by his Ecuadorian hosts.
Edit: I looked on Google Maps, the Ecuadorian Embassy does indeed have a closed-in courtyard of some sort.

These are the Brits. I'm certain that not only is MI5 involved in the surveillance, but so is the SAS.

My wish would be for the SAS, Then if Assmange tried to struggle then they wouldn't care if he got a little beating

How provincial.
